- LCS Spring Split Playoffs start March 30th
- Is Liquid still the best bet?
- Can TSM claim yet another LCS Title?
With the Spring LCS Playoffs getting started March 30th, now is as good a time as ever to take a look at the odds for the winner of the first split of the year. All season long Liquid has been the favorite to come out on top of the LCS, and though they still are the odds-on favorite, both Cloud9 and TSM have made significant ground on the odds table.

Can TSM Carry Their Momentum to Another LCS Title?
After starting the LCS Spring Split with a 2-4 record, some were quick to write TSM off as a threat to win the first split of 2019. The most dominant team of all-time in LCS history finally were starting to look like an average team, and then came the TSM Turning Point.

One fateful saying made by TSM Jungler, Akaadian, turned everything around. Since those words were put into the universe, TSM has gone 11-1 and won both games against the odds-on favorite to win the Spring Split.
TSM find themselves as the hottest team heading into the playoffs riding a six-game win streak.
The meme turned into a dream for TSM, as they find themselves as the hottest team heading into the playoffs riding a six-game win streak. With strong performances coming from TSM veterans Bjergsen and Zven, paired with the performance of newcomers Smoothie, Akaadian and Broken Blade, they truly look like the best team in the LCS heading into the Spring Playoffs.

Holding two wins over Liquid is something that only TSM can say they’ve done this split, and both wins were in pretty dominant fashion. They seem to be the kryptonite to Liquid this split, and seeing as they will probably meet up in the second round it will be interesting to see if they are able to stay undefeated against the number one seed.
Their confidence will be at a high having already beat Liquid twice, so they should be feeling pretty good about this matchup heading into the semifinal of the LCS Spring Split. I expect that they will keep their flawless record against Liquid and find themselves in the final against Cloud9.
The Answer to TSM?
With the second seed in the LCS Spring Playoffs, Cloud9 sits on the other side of the bracket and should be able to virtually walk themselves right to the final. They definitely got the easier side of the bracket, and even though they will have to beat FlyQuest who are no joke, they should be able to do so with relative ease.
They started the LCS Spring Split with +1200 odds, and since then have found themselves climb further and further up the table in the odds. Now at +450, Cloud9 head into the playoffs with the third best odds to win it all. Though they went 0-2 to Liquid in the Spring Split, they did manage to go 2-0 against TSM which leads to a very strange situation among the three teams.

Liquid went 2-0 against Cloud9, but 0-2 against TSM. Cloud9 went 2-0 against TSM, but 0-2 against Liquid. And TSM went 2-0 against Liquid, but 0-2 against Cloud9. Confusing right? Since each of the top three teams seems to have a problem with one of the other two but find success against the other, it really is hard to predict what will go down in the playoffs.
Liquid went 2-0 against Cloud9, but 0-2 against TSM. Cloud9 went 2-0 against TSM, but 0-2 against Liquid. And TSM went 2-0 against Liquid, but 0-2 against Cloud9.
TSM would be the team that I would advise putting money on to come out on top though. They have Liquid’s number this split and up until they gave the game away in their last encounter with Cloud9, they were winning in pretty convincing fashion. They’re heading into playoffs with the most momentum of any team, and they should be able to steamroll that momentum all the way to the finals and another LCS Title.
Pick: TSM (+300)
