- Keen Gaming head into ESL One Mumbai as the favorite
- What teams will find themselves in the final come Sunday?
- Will it be a rematch of the WESG final?
ESL One Mumbai kicks off April 19 at the NSCI Dome, and will be the first Major Dota event hosted in India. Eleven world class teams, and the winner of the Indian qualifier from early March will battle it out for the lions share of the $300,000 prize pool.
Heading into ESL One Mumbai, Keen Gaming leads the way in the odds at +275 to win it all, but are they the right pick here? Let’s take a look at the rest of the table and some of the teams you’re going to want to keep an eye on in Mumbai.

Should You be Keen on Keen?
After an average finish at DreamLeague Season 11 that saw Keen Gaming place 5-6th, the squad managed to battle through the Chinese qualifier for the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, capping it all off with an impressive win over the winner of DreamLeague, ViCi Gaming.
They have found some pretty decent results as of late outside of the mentioned tournaments, with a first place finish at the JJB Spring Cup and a second place finish at WESG. Their solid play puts them as the favorite heading into ESL One Mumbai, and they deserve to be slotted into that top position.

With some of the worlds premier teams sitting this tournament out, it’s Keen’s time to shine. They by no means are a shoo-in to win in Mumbai, but riding their momentum from the Paris Qualifier, they should be able to at least make their way to the finals.
Some other teams to keep an eye on making a run in Mumbai would be, Gambit, TNC, Mineski, and NiP. All are solid teams that have each found some success over the past few months and should be at least considered when making a bet here.
The Pick: Keen (+275)

Who Will be Left Standing Come Sunday?
Since I think Keen are going to continue their winning ways in India, it’s time to look at what team may be battling it out come Sunday with the Chinese side. There are several teams that I think could find themselves in the finals, but I think it’s worth taking a closer look at TNC and Mineski.
Both teams have found wins over some pretty good competition as of late, with TNC actually beating Keen in the finals of WESG, and Mineski finding wins over EHOME and TNC within the past month. The trio of Keen, TNC, and Mineski are all capable to taking games off one another, it will just come down to who shows up more at ESL One Mumbai.

When all is said and done, I fully expect the finals to come down to two of those three teams. If I was to say which two end up in the big dance, it would have to be Keen and TNC, though I don’t quite see it going down like the WESG Finals. Expect Keen to get revenge and find the win at the first ever Major Dota event on Indian soil.
The Picks: Keen (-115) / TNC (+350)
