2019 Razzie Awards: Odds on Worst Picture, Actor/Actress & More

- The worst films and performances from the last year will be recognized at the Razzies on Saturday, February 23rd.
- The Categories span feature films and documentaries this year, include a few unlikely nominees.
- The Nominees include Hollywood heavy hitters such as Johnny Depp, John Travolta, and Amanda Seyfried.
2018 saw some great films, but there were also some undoubted stinkers in the midst. The worst of the bunch will get their due on Saturday, February 23rd when the spotlight turns on The Golden Raspberry Awards.
We’ve included the nominees for this year’s Razzies below along with their corresponding odds.

It’s a Sherlock Holmes versus NYC mobsters competition. Gotti is the favorite to win, led by John Travolta donning the arguably most catastrophic hair plugs of his career.
It’s hard to find a positive review of Gotti. We have a “winner”.

Given that US President Donald Trump is a frequently criticized figurehead, the Razzies committee took their opportunity to throw Trump into the pot for this, um, distinguished honor.
Johnny Depp’s voice acting in Sherlock Gnomes wasn’t a hit, but Trump is likely to edge out a win.

Melissa McCarthy’s performances in The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party were both underwhelming.
However, Jennifer Garner’s performance in Peppermint had audiences muffling laughter despite the serious subject matter. But given The Happytime Murders‘ inclusion in almost every category, McCarthy will be winning here.

The Razzies really have it in for the detectives. Despite Holmes & Watson‘s clear attempt to try to be a bad movie, the Razzies are still recognizing the film for its horrible qualities.
When Jason Staham’s take against a killer shark is the least likely win, you must really know the other nominees are all terrible!

Worse Screen Combo is surely the most intriguing category of the whole ceremony. Nominees include Johnny Depp’s declining career, and real life couple Kelly Preston and John Travolta.

However, you can’t deny the power of the public’s disdain for Trump.

Reilly is a sure bet here. Most of the other nominees are throwaway options (Ludacris, really!?)
Reilly’s Dr. Watson has the power to take it home.

Aside from Trump, no Republican figure is more intriguing to watch than Kellyanne Conway, who has been much lampooned on Saturday Night Live, talk shows, and everywhere in between.
People love wild politics, and Conway’s zaniness makes her a surefire bet.
