Texas has shortened from -9.5 to -7.5 against Oklahoma, and Alabama has moved from underdog to favorite against Georgia. Week 6 repriced a few games in ways that change what your ticket actually needs.

Here is the current Saturday board, followed by how four of these games looked earlier in the week.

The two come from different sportsbooks, so read them side by side rather than as one continuous line.

Oregon and Oklahoma State are the two double-digit favorites, both sitting just past 10. Georgia at Alabama is the tightest number on the board.

Army and Pitt are each parked on the hook above three. The totals stretch from the high 30s in Dallas to the high 50s in Eugene.

Hard Rock Bet openers and Thursday, Oct. 8 prices. This is a historical snapshot, not current odds.

Three of the four moved, all toward the underdog and all toward fewer points. Indiana and Texas each came down two.

Georgia opened as a short road favorite and Alabama held that same margin by Thursday, a clean flip through pick’em. Missouri stayed put while its total ticked down.

What Those Key Numbers Mean for Your Ticket

Take the Oklahoma vs Texas spread. At -9.5, Texas has to win by 10 or more. At -7.5, a win by eight gets there.

So two margins change hands: eight and nine. Those were losing tickets at the open and winning ones at the shorter number. Same for Indiana at Nebraska, which made the identical two-point trip.

Neither spread crossed seven. A seven-point win still loses at both -9.5 and -7.5, while a ten-point win covers either price. The improvement is limited to those eight- and nine-point margins.

Three works the same way at a smaller scale. Missouri at -3.5 needs to beat Texas A&M by four. A flat three would push on an exact field-goal margin. Army and Pitt sit in that same spot on the current board.

The Georgia vs Alabama flip is its own thing. The point spread changed sides, but that alone does not establish how other markets moved. At Alabama -1.5 the Tide need a two-point win, and at the Georgia number the Bulldogs needed the same.

Totals work on the same principle. That Georgia at Alabama number going from 56.5 to 51.5 means every combined score from 52 through 56 switches from Under to Over.

Snapshot Odds Versus the Live Board

One thing worth saying plainly. The two tables come from different sportsbooks at different times, so a gap between them is not movement.

That is two operators pricing the same game on their own. Movement means one book changing its own number, which is why the snapshot pairs an opener with a later price from the same source.

Treat it as context for how a game got here, not a signal for where it goes next. For where the tickets and handle are sitting, our college football public betting splits page has the breakdowns.
