Prop Picks #1: Quinshon Judkins Rushing Yards

The first bet we’re targeting in the Ohio State vs Oregon player props is the rushing yards total for Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins. The sophomore standout is primed for a big performance against a Ducks defense that has been vulnerable on the ground this season.

Boise State showed that this Oregon rush defense can be exploited, rushing for 200+ yards on them in Week 2. Judkins, meanwhile, is averaging an impressive 7.8 yards per carry and 93.6 rushing yards per game in 2024. He has big-play ability, evidenced by 14 runs of 10+ yards this year.

Ohio State is likely to lean on the ground game early. This strategy will take pressure off quarterback Will Howard. As a result, Judkins should see enough volume to surpass his prop total of 66.5 rushing yards.

The Ole Miss transfer topped that number in three of his last four games, and the favorable matchup against Oregon’s defense sets the stage for another productive outing. He won’t do what Ashton Jeanty did to this OSU defense, but he should cash his prop over for us.

  • Pick: Quinshon Judkins Over 66.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at Bet365)

Prop Picks #2: Dillon Gabriel to Throw Interception

On the Oregon side, I’m looking at quarterback Dillon Gabriel to throw an interception against Ohio State’s elite defense. The Ducks signal-caller has shown some vulnerability recently, tossing three picks over his last two starts.

Gabriel will face a formidable Buckeyes pass rush. The OSU defense ranks second in win rate and converts one-third of pressures into sacks. Under duress, Gabriel tends to force throws. This could lead to costly mistakes against an OSU secondary that ranks second in the FBS in passes defended.

Gabriel’s completion percentage has dipped to below 70% in his last two starts after completing well over 80% of his passes in the first three games. This isn’t the matchup for Gabriel to battle turnover issues.

With Ohio State favored in the latest Oregon vs Ohio State odds, there may come a time where Gabriel gets desperate and begins forcing throws in tight windows. I like the -150 value on Gabriel throwing a pick in the Week 7 player props.

  • Pick: Dillon Gabriel to Throw an Interception (-150 at Bet365)

Oregon D/ST +2200 +400 +4500
Sam Williams-Dixon +2500 +425 +4500
Gee Scott Jr. +2500 +400 +4500

In the Ohio State vs Oregon anytime touchdown market, Oregon RB Jordan James is the heavy favorite to find paydirt at -160 (60% implied probability). There isn’t great value on this bet due to OSU’s elite defense. Instead, we’ve got a juicy plus-money TD prop at excellent odds.

Anytime TD Picks: Gee Scott Jr.

For those seeking a higher-risk, higher-reward option in the touchdown props market, Ohio State tight end Gee Scott Jr. is an intriguing longshot bet to find the end zone against Oregon.

Scott is the most experienced tight end on the Buckeyes roster with 36 games under his belt. The senior has emerged as the top option at the position, as he’s currently #1 on OSU’s tight-end depth chart.

While Scott wasn’t targeted last week against Iowa, he racked up three catches for 14 yards and a TD the previous week against Michigan State. There is potential for him to have a breakout game against Oregon.

Oregon’s defense has been burned by talented tight ends, including the season opener when Idaho’s Jake Cox hauled in a 39-yard TD pass. While Scott isn’t a well-known name, I think Buckeye QB Will Rogers will look to the 6’3″ TE on a few occasions tonight.

Additionally, Scott’s growth at the position and matchup advantage make him worth taking a flier in the anytime TD market. I’m tossing Scott Jr. into my same-game parlay, along with the Ohio State spread and the aforementioned two player prop bets.
