Prop Picks #1: Arian Smith Receiving Yards
I’m looking at Georgia wide receiver Arian Smith to have a big game against Alabama on Saturday night. The speedy wideout has been a key weapon in the Bulldogs’ passing attack this season, hauling in 11 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown through three games.
The Bulldogs will likely open up their passing game against an inexperienced secondary, which bodes well for Smith’s chances of eclipsing 37.5 receiving yards. Georgia will scheme up passes to get the ball in his hands, whether it’s on deep shots or screen passes behind the line of scrimmage.

Smith’s ability to stretch the field vertically makes him a solid bet to go over his player props. 43% of his targets come from more than 10 yards downfield, as Beck loves to target Smith on the big explosive plays.
Alabama’s defense that’s replacing three NFL Draft picks in the secondary. I predict Smith will expose the Crimson Tide’s back seven and rack up 40+ air yards. Back the speedy receiver to surpass 37.5 yards in the Week 5 college football player props.
- Pick: Arian Smith Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at 365)
Props Picks #2: Jalen Milroe Interceptions
Another Georgia vs Alabama player prop I’m locking in for Week 5 is Bama pivot Jalen Milroe not to throw an interception against UGA. The senior has been taking care of the football lately. In fact, he’s thrown 146 consecutive passes without a pick dating back to last November.
In last year’s SEC Championship game against Georgia, Milroe showed poise and ball security despite facing a fierce Bulldogs pass rush. He completed 13 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns without throwing an interception.

While his 56% completion percentage in that game is worrying, Milroe has shown growth as a passer in Alabama’s new offensive scheme. Through three games under DeBoer, he’s completing 67.3% of his passes for 590 yards, eight TDs and zero interceptions.
UGA’s defense has only forced one interception so far this season against inferior competition. This is partly because teams aren’t often throwing often against them. Alabama, meanwhile, is running the ball on 65% of their plays in 2024. I expect Milroe to be more of a threat with his legs than his arm today.
- Pick: Jalen Milroe Under 0.5 Interceptions (-125 at Bet365)

In the Georgia vs Alabama scoring props market, Trevor Etienne has the best odds to find paydirt at -120 (54.5% implied probability). We don’t mind that play, considering his role in UGA’s offense. However, we’ve got an anytime TD prop at even better value.

Odds as of September 28, 2024, at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Anytime TD Picks: Jalen Milroe
In terms of the CFB anytime touchdown props, I’m targeting the Bama QB Jalen Milroe to find paydirt. The dynamic Alabama pivot has already rushed for six TDs through the first three games of the 2024 season, showing his ability to make plays with his legs.
After 12 rushing TDs last year, Jalen Milroe just got his first of 2024.#RollTide | #RatedProspect
— The Draft Network (@TheDraftNetwork) August 31, 2024
In last year’s SEC Championship Game against Georgia, Milroe also showed flashes of his rushing ability, carrying the ball 14 times. While he didn’t score in that contest, Milroe has only improved as a rusher this season.
A well-designed quarterback run or a timely scramble is all it takes for this anytime TD bet to cash. I love the -120 value on Milroe taking advantage of a red zone opportunity and finding paydirt.
