C.J. Stroud Passing Yards
The Heisman trophy favorite, C.J. Stroud has had a phenomenal few weeks. After merely looking mortal against Notre Dame, the Ohio State pivot lit up Arkansas State and Toledo. Stroud has thrown for over 700 yards and 9 touchdowns the past two weeks. However, Wisconsin offers a different sort of challenge this week.

While he possesses otherworldly accuracy and throw power, Stroud can struggle with decision making. Additionally, the last time this Buckeyes team faced a stout defense, Stroud’s timing with multiple receivers looked off. Wisconsin has only given up 170 passing yards per game this season. While we don’t expect Jim Leonhard’s unit to completely shut down Ohio State’s offense, they can surely hold Stroud under his total passing yards.
Pick: C.J. Stroud UNDER 337.5 passing yards (-115)
Travis Dye Rushing Yards
After transferring from Oregon, running back Travis Dye has got to be enjoying his time in Southern California. Playing for Lincoln Riley certainly has it’s perks. Dye is flying through some of the biggest rushing lanes of his life for USC, and has been dominant the past two weeks. Dye has rushed for a total of 207 yards on just 25 rushes the past two weeks, for an average of over 8 yards per carry.

⚔️ 11 carries
⚔️ 138 total yards
⚔️ One ELITE rush TD

As the broadcast in the above clip alludes to, Dye is almost never tackled by just one defender. His elusiveness will serve him well on Saturday against Oregon State. The Beavers are currently 70th in the country in rush defense, allowing 142 yards per game. However, that came against the likes of Montana and Boise State. Look for Travis Dye and USC to roll in this one.
Pick: Travis Dye OVER 88.5 rushing yards (-105)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Receiving Yards
We’re going back to the well until Jaxon Smith-Njigba proves himself. So far this season he has a total of four catches for thirty-six yards. Why his yardage prop continues to hover around 100 is beyond me. The All-American wide receiver is dealing with a nagging hamstring injury, and Ohio State has a stable of hungry five-star prospects who need to see snaps.
Additionally, Wisconsin currently surrenders only 170 passing yards per game. Moreover, the Badgers have made it their mission to stop Smith-Njigba from dominating this Big Ten showdown.
