Michael Hawkins Jr. Passing Yards
Freshman Sooners quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr. is about to be thrown into the deep end against a top-tier Texas defense. Hawkins attempted just 15 passes against Auburn, and 18 against Tennessee the week before. He threw for just 293 total yards across those two contests, will struggle to even replicate that production against the Longhorns.
The Oklahoma offense sits in the bottom-40 in pass blocking and receiving grade. Brent Venables’ team average just 297 yards of total offense per game, with only 169 of those coming from the passing game.

Hawkins’ tape is littered with rushing highlights, but show very little of his arm. Moreover, Texas has racked up 13 sacks and 45 pressures already this season. It’s more likely than not Hawkins Jr. will be running for his life in Norman on Saturday afternoon. Bet his under 172.5 passing yards with confidence.
- Pick: Michael Hawkins Jr. under 172.5 passing yards (-114)
Antwane Wells Jr. Receiving Yards
Sometimes insane value meets opportunity in the college football player props betting world.
LSU’s passing defense has been objectively terrible this season, ranking 114th in PFF passing grade. That grade falls to 41.4 against deep passes. Additionally, only three teams in the newly fashioned Power Four have surrendered a higher explosive play rate than Matt House’s unit. The Tigers have surrendered 258 passing yards per game, while allowing a completion on 65% of attempts and giving up 8.4 yards per pass.

On top of all that, Antwane Wells Jr. has exceeded 66 receiving yards in four of five games this season. The South Carolina transfer has looked outstanding in Ole Miss colours, averaging 21.8 yards per reception. He turned three receptions into 97 yards against the Gamecocks last week, and is set to go off on LSU’s terrible secondary. Starting corner Ashton Stamps has allowed 16 receptions for 207 yards and a touchdown on just 26 targets through five games.
Back Wells Jr. to far exceed this number.
- Pick: Antwane Wells Jr. over 64.5 receiving yards (-114)
