It’s a battle of college football bluebloods when Georgia faces Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Georgia will be without starting quarterback Carson Beck, who hurt his shoulder in the SEC title game against Texas and has declared for the NFL Draft. Gunner Stockton will fill in behind center.

Notre Dame walloped Indiana in the CFP quarterfinals behind a big performance from running back Jeremiyah Love.

Let’s start off 2025 with a big winning parley on the Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame.

Georgia vs Notre Dame Same-Game Parlay

Pick Odds
Under 45.5 -108
Trevor Etienne anytime touchdown -175
Riley Leonard over 225 passing yard +300
Same-Game Parlay Odds +1111

Our DraftKings parlay adds up to +1111, and we have to be honest, we toyed with an even bigger play with Etienne getting 2+ touchdowns. A $10 bet here returns $111. Notre Dame remains a one-point favorite to win.

Georgia vs Notre Dame Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Under 45.5

You don’t get this far in the college football season without a championship defense. Notre Dame’s defense has been elite this season allowing over 13.8 points per game….yes, we know they didn’t play the toughest schedule in the country, but still.

Georgia has played a tough schedule, and allowed 20.2 points this season, but another reason we are so keen on the under is the whole situation with Georgia at QB. Gunner Stockton will be making his first start under incredible pressure and you got to think the game plan will be run-heavy, especially early in the game.

Look for Georgia to rely on its defense and keep it a low-scoring affair.

Bulldogs vs Irish SGP Pick #2: Trevor Etienne Anytime TD

Trevor Etienne missed three games with a rib injury down the stretch for the Bulldogs. Of course, college coaches never reveal the extent of any injury, but it’s a safe bet it was broken or cracked. Etienne returned with a vengeance in the SEC Championship game and looks like the centerpiece of the Bulldogs offense.

Again we go back to the game’s biggest storyline, which is Georgia’s back-up QB getting the start. That means Etienne should get plenty of work behind a good Georgia offensive line.

We almost pulled the trigger on two touchdowns for Etienne Wednesday, but we will scale back and go with him scoring at least once.

Georgia vs Notre Dame Same-Game Parlay Pick #3: Riley Leonard +225 Passing Yards

All right, this is the one we’re going out on a limb with, but let’s have a little fun in 2025.

Leonard has only thrown for over 225 yards once all season. The Irish have a fantastic offensive line and ground game, but Georgia’s defense is weak against the pass. The Bulldogs were eighth in the SEC against the pass, allowing 208 yards a game, and they have given up over 300 yards through the air in their last two games.

It’s not that Notre Dame can’t pass, it’s that they haven’t had to. When Leonard played at Duke – a more pass-happy offense – he put up big numbers. If Notre Dame is smart, they’ll try to throw the ball today against the Bulldogs.
