  • The Elite 8 Round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament wraps on Sunday, March 30
  • FanDuel gave us a 30% Boost Token to use so I think we should use it on an Elite 8 parlay

We’re wrapping up the Elite Eight round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament which means we need to get a little parlay going. It’s just the way this thing works. I thought about skipping the day and fully investing in the MLB action but that’s dumb. We’re not getting this tournament back. Once these games are over, they’re over. We’ll have to wait an entire year to get them back. Even then, we’ll never really get them back. Lucky for us, FanDuel knew we had to get in on these things too. That’s why they loaded up all of our accounts with a 30% profit boost on any NCAA basketball bet today. Don’t worry, I’ve got the perfect way to use this thing. Feels right.

Elite 8 Parlay Leg #1 – Houston Cougars -2.5

When this thing started, I said this could be the year where we see all four #1 seeds in the Final Four. People called me crazy but here we are two games away from that happening. Honestly, it wasn’t that crazy of a call to begin with. These 1-seeds may be the best one-seeds ever to grace us with tournament appearances.

Just ask Purude how hard it is to get Houston out of this tournament.

Here’s the thing with the Houston Cougars, they lock teams up on defense. They’re literally the number one ranked defense in the country in terms of efficiency according to KenPom. They slow the game down and turn it into a rock fight. The strategy has worked all season long as they are 33-4 at the moment.

Today they’ll get their toughest test of the tournament with the Midwest Region’s two-seed the Tennessee Volunteers. Like Houston, the Volunteers play defense so this game should be a disgusting under. As over people, we can’t do that on a weekend so what we’ll do is just take the better offense to win by at least three points. Feels like the move.

Elite 8 Parlay Leg #2 – Auburn Tigers -4.5

With Duke and Florida still playing in this thing, the Auburn tigers aren’t really getting their shine. After all, they are the number-one seed in the entire field. On top of that, they’ve smashed everyone they’ve played so far so it’s not like we have a reason to dismiss them.

I mean, look at these kids, they’re filthy.

Here’s the thing about this one, there really isn’t much analysis that can be done. This line is right. The Tigers will see a very good Michigan State Spartans team, that was good enough to be the two-seed in the region. The thing is, the Spartans just barely got by the Ole Miss Rebels last round. If we’re being honest, they should have lost that game.

Now the Spartans get a team in Auburn that is just a better version of Ole Miss. We’re looking at the third-best offense and eighth-best defense in the country here. They’re battle-tested as they played in the toughest conference in the country (SEC) this season. I don’t want to say it, but the Tigers could blow this team out. We only need them to win by at least five points. Feels easy.

  • The Bet: Auburn Tigers -4.5 (+101) – FanDuel (With Boost)
