  • The Final Four Round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament begins on Saturday, April 5
  • The smartest thing we can do at this point is find a nice little Same-Game Parlay for the Houston/Duke game
  • See below for my +310 Final Four Parlay for Saturday Night

By the time the Houston Cougars and Duke Blue Devils take the floor on Friday, we’ll be in dire need of a same-game parlay. Think about it. It will be almost 9 pm on the East Coast, and we will have just watched the Auburn/Florida game. We’re going to need action, and we’re going to need it on the Blue Devils/Cougars. We were given this world; we didn’t make it.

Lucky for us, God gave us same-game parlays, which will come in handy Saturday night. All we have to do is find two players we know are going to drop buckets, then parlay them together for a sweet payday. Don’t worry, I found the two players so we’re all set. What a world.

Final Four Parlay Leg #1 – Cooper Flagg Over 18.5 Points

This is what I like to call a free square. From day one this season, all anyone could talk about is Cooper Flagg. He was called a “generational” talent and a shoe-in for the number one pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

The verdict is still out (a little) on the “generational” talent part, but he is definitely the AP Player of the Year.

I can hear the haters now, “Flagg burned me so many times this season.” The problem with betting Cooper Flagg’s props this season was two-fold. First off, Duke has so much talent that sometimes Flagg gets caught up in the mix making it tough for him to go up and get his point totals. That should not be the case against the Cougars given their strengths on defense. Flagg will need to be the top option.

The second thing Flagg had going against him this season was the fact that Duke blew everyone out so he wasn’t always on the floor for his full compliment of minutes. That shouldn’t happen Saturday night. The Cougars should give the Blue Devils all they can handle forcing Flagg to play all night. I think he goes for 20+. We only need 19. Feels easy.

  • The Bet: Cooper Flagg Over 18.5 Points (+100) – FanDuel

Final Four Parlay Leg #2 – LJ Cryer Over 16.5 Points

While Duke is getting all of the shine coming into this game, we can’t forget about the Houston Cougars. These kids are the nation’s top defense in the entire country. They are a one-seed for a reason and we should see it Saturday night.

But just because they’re known for their defense, we can’t forget about their offense—especially LJ Cryer.

This one is simple, the Cougars will need points to keep pace with the Blue Devils. I get that they have a great defense but no team in the nation can stop Duke from scoring. If/when it comes time to play “catch up”, the Cougars will need to lean on someone.

That someone is LJ Cryer and he is more than capable of shouldering the load. He led the Cougars in scoring this season and should be on the floor all game Saturday night. He’s scored at least 17 points in two of his last three games and I expect him to do it again against Duke. Feels right.

  • The Bet: LJ Cryer Over 16.5 Points (+105) – FanDuel
