Holy Cross Betting Outlook
Senior forward Gerrale Gates has been perhaps the premier player in the Patriot League this season. He is averaging 17.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.2 blocked shots a game.
Gates leads the league in both scoring and rebounding and is third in blocks. However, he was held to 10 points by New Hampshire while also contributing five rebounds and two steals.

The only other Holy Cross player with a double-figure scoring average is junior guard Bo Montgomery at 11.5. He also is handing out 2.5 assists a game.
Junior guard Joe Octave scored a season-high 19 points on Monday. That lifted his season average to 9.8 after transferring from Air Force.
Junior guard Nolan Dorsey also had a season-high with 13 points.
Holy Cross shot 44.4% (8 of 18) on three-pointers. However, the Crusaders allowed New Hampshire to make 27 of 50 (54.0%) field goal attempts, including 9 of 20 (45.0%) from deep.
Holy Cross is scoring just 66.8 points a game, which is 309th in the country. The Crusaders are 316th in free throw shooting at 66.8%.
Sacred Heart Betting Outlook
Junior forward Nico Galette has been filling all the stat columns. He has averages of 15.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 1.3 blocked shots a game.
Galette stands third in Northeast Conference in steals and blocks. He is also fourth in scoring and fifth in rebounding.
However, St. Joseph’s held Galette to 11 points on Monday. He also contributed six rebounds and three assists.

Senior guard Joey Reilly topped Sacred Heart with 15 points, four assists, and two steals. He has a 10.5 scoring average.
Reilly could be motivated to face Holy Cross. He began his collegiate career with two seasons with Crusaders before transferring to Sacred Heart prior to the 2021-22 season.
Two other Pioneers players scoring in double figures are senior guard Raheem Solomon (13.2) and junior guard Aidan Carpenter (11.3). Both are transfers — Solomon from Niagara and Carpenter from Siena.
Solomon had 13 points and five assists Monday while junior forward Bryce Johnson added 12 points. Sacred Heart shot just 35.6% (21 of 59), was outrebounded 46-34, and turned the ball over 20 times.
Johnson is averaging 8.0 rebounds a game, which is third in the NEC. Junior guard Mike Sixsmith is fourth in assists with a 3.3 average.
Holy Cross vs Sacred Heart Prediction
The teams last played during the 2019-20 season when Sacred Heart won 89-68 on the road. Holy Cross had won the four previous matchups. However, look for the Pioneers to win again and cover against the offensively challenged Crusaders.
Pick: Sacred Heart -7.5 (-104)
Season Record: 16-10 ATS (+5.0 units), 0-3 ML (-3.0 units)
