Northwestern will try to keep its four-game winning streak alive when it returns from a holiday break to host Brown at 1 p.m. ET Thursday at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Ill.

Northwestern (9-2, 6-1 home) routed Illinois-Chicago 92-54 on Dec. 20 in its last game. Brown (7-5, 4-3 road) won for the seventh time in its last eight games when it beat New Hampshire 67-51 on Dec. 21.

Brown Betting Outlook

Sophomore guard Kino Lilly Jr. leads Brown with 14.8 points and 1.5 steals a game. He is fifth in the Ivy League in both categories.

Lilly scored 15 points and had three steals in the win over New Hampshire. However, he made just 1 of 7 shots from three-point range.

Brown shot just 39.7% (26 of 63) from the field. The Bears, though, held New Hampshire to 30.8% (16 of 52) and had a 45-34 advantage in rebounds.

Sophomore forward Nana Owusu-Anane scored a team-high 16 points for Brown on 6-of-8 shooting. He also pulled down five rebounds.

Owusa-Anane is averaging 9.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 steals. He is fourth in the Ivy League in steals and fifth in rebounding.

Senior guard Paxson Wojcik is also having a fine season. He is third in the Ivy League in rebounding with a 7.3 average to go with 12.2 points and 2.9 assists a game.

Wojcik’s father, Doug, is an assistant coach at Michigan State and was formerly the head coach at Tulsa and College of Charleston.

Brown is scoring just 64.3 points a game, which is 332^nd nationally. The Bears are 362^nd in free throw shooting with a dismal 57.1 percentage.
