The #13 Arizona Wildcats (17-8, 11-3 Big 12, 5-3 away, 14-11 ATS) look to stem a two-game losing streak on Monday night when they head to Waco to face the Baylor Bears (16-9, 8-6 Big 12, 12-1 home, 9-14-1 ATS) at Foster Pavilion at 9:00 pm CT/10:00 pm ET. The Wildcats held a share of the lead in the Big 12 before dropping back-to-back games to K-State (73-70 away) and Houston (62-58 home) their last two times on the court. Now Tommy Lloyd’s team finds itself a slight road underdog in Monday’s college basketball odds.
Arizona vs Baylor Odds
The Bears are favored by 1.5 points at home in the Arizona vs Baylor odds and are priced at -120 on the moneyline. The Wildcats come back as even-money underdogs while the game total is sitting at 152.5.

Both teams have skewed to the over this season: Arizona is 14-11 over/under in its first 25 games while Baylor is 15-9. But tonight’s game will be a contrast in styles. Arizona plays at the 43rd-fastest tempo among all 364 DI teams. Baylor, on the other hand, plays at the 297th-fastest pace.
Four days after losing to Kansas State (73-70) as 3.5-point road favorites, the Wildcats dropped a second straight game to Houston (62-58) as two-point home underdogs on Saturday.
Caleb Love had a team-high 17 points in a losing effort while KJ Lewis added 13.
Arizona also owns a home win over Baylor already this season, earning a 81-70 decision back on January 14. The Wildcats jumped out to an early 22-9 lead and never looked back, taking a 42-19 advantage into halftime. Only a late run by the Bears made the score appear respectable.
Baylor took a 74-71 OT win over West Virginia last time out on Saturday, their fourth straight home victory. Norchad Omier and Langston Love both had 17 for the Bears while Robert Wright III added another 16 in the OT thriller.
ARI vs BAY Player Props
Both teams’ leading scorers, Caleb Love (15.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 3.4 APG) and Norchad Omier (15.7 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 1.6 APG), are listed with point totals of 17.5, almost two points higher than either are averaging this season. Standout Baylor freshman VJ Edgecombe (14.6 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 3.3 APG) has the next-highest point total at 14.5, followed by a trio of players at 11.5.
Baylor’s Omier also has the highest rebound total at 10.5, followed by Arizona’s Tobe Awaka (7.9 PPG, 7.7 RPG) at 6.5. Omier’s 10.2 RPG average is 10th-best in all of DI.
Arizona vs Baylor Prediction & Picks
Baylor has been near-perfect at home this season, going 12-1 straight-up with the lone loss coming against TCU )74-71) back in mid-January as big 12.5-point home favorites. The Bears have knocked off some decent competition in Waco, including Kansas (81-70), K-State (70-62), and Cincinnati (64-48) in addition to the OT win over WVU.
The Wildcats, on the other hand, hasn’t beaten a top-30 team on the road yet this season, losing badly in its only two attempts: 103-88 at Wisconsin, 70-54 at Texas Tech. Their 85-74 road win at #33 BYU is certainly a resume-booster, but I love Baylor on its home court in a roughly pick’em game.
Put the first meeting between these teams out of your mind. The Bears are a different beast in Waco.
