Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul Props – Total Rounds
Outcome | Odds |
---|---|
Over 5.5 | -110 |
Under 5.5 | -110 |
Odds as of June 4th
I think the closeness of this line is informed by a point I brought up in my last Mayweather vs Paul article.
A lot of Mayweather’s career has seen him use the first six rounds for thoughtfully assessing his opponent’s tactics so as to thoroughly dismantle them.
But the last couple of fights Floyd has been in, he has showcased a bit of an uncharacteristically aggressive, forward-moving approach.

I think that Mayweather will be more inclined to let Paul get some rounds in.
I think we see the more analytical, range-minded Floyd here, and I also think he will carry this one on longer than it should go. To give some maligned perception of parity with the end goal being a future fight between brother Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather.
I foresee this one going over five and a half rounds and then Mayweather will close the show in the final pair of frames most likely.
Pick: Over 5.5 (-110)

Mayweather vs Paul Props – Goes the Distance
Goes the Distance | Odds |
---|---|
No | -310 |
Yes | +205 |
Considering this is a 50-0 fighter against an 0-1 fighter, some are pontificating on the possibilities of a moral victory for Logan Paul should he go the distance against one of the all-time greats.
The gloves were altered to 10 oz gloves a bit after this tweet, but the other regulatory facets remain the same.

The last-minute introduction of the smaller gloves is a promotional tactic that was also used in the lead-up to Mayweather’s fight with Conor McGregor. The smaller glove sizes are to create this narrative among fight observers that the potential for a knockout goes up significantly with the tinier hand coverings.
This one is scheduled for eight, three-minute rounds, but I do not see this one encroaching to the final bell.
Pick: Not go the Distance (-310)
Mayweather vs Paul Props – Round Betting
Round | Mayweather Odds | Paul Odds |
---|---|---|
Round 1 | +240 | +1200 |
Round 2 | +250 | +1400 |
Round 3 | +350 | +1600 |
Round 4 | +400 | +1600 |
Round 5 | +500 | +1600 |
Round 6 | +600 | +1800 |
Round 7 | +700 | +2500 |
Round 8 | +800 | +3300 |
This is an area where the puncher’s chance narrative for Paul is quite evident.
The odds of him getting favorable outcomes at later points in the bout are not great. This is informed by the skill disparity and also the fact he’s younger. He is physically a larger man that creates some relative level of value with a knockdown comparatively.
The aforementioned rules for this exhibition are curious but at least there is the potential for a knockout to transpire. These prop bets are emerging on many radars, including the radars of professional fighters.

In summation, I see a scenario whereby Floyd Mayweather steadily works the body of Logan Paul throughout and he eventually gets the social media sensation to take a knee from a particularly spicey rib roaster.
I see that transpiring at some point between the sixth and final round of the eight-rounder.
Pick: Mayweather by KO/TKO in Round 6 (+600)
