This headline fight for vacant BKFC gold between Hunt and Henry pits the number one ranked contender in the weight category against the number two cruiserweight in BKFC, respectively.
Lorenzo Hunt’s Betting Analysis at BKFC 30
Hunt enters this bout as the BKFC light heavyweight champion and looks to cement himself as a dual division champion in bare-knuckle boxing.
He is the number two pound-for-pound ranked fighter in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships and is riding a six-fight winning streak into Saturday night after sustaining his lone BKFC loss.

The bulk of Hunt’s bouts have been close to 200 pounds or even a bit over. In fact, he has a win over the one cruiserweight champion in BKFC’s history so far in Hector Lombard.
So he’s actually more seasoned at this weight range than the 185-pound class that he has a successful title defense within. Hunt now takes on a larger individual who has competed as high as heavyweight in MMA and someone who also has demonstrable KO power in the BKFC ring.
Quentin Henry’s road to the title
Henry is riding a three-fight winning streak heading into this consequential contest.
He has garnered finishes in all of his BKFC wins and has only tasted defeat once in bare-knuckle boxing to brick-fisted former UFC veteran/ Ultimate Fighter season one staple Chris Leben.

Though these two have the identical reach, the resumes read a bit differently to me.
Hunt has had more instances of being tested and thriving at that higher level in the sport with this being Hunt’s third BKFC title fight while this will be a first for Henry.

Ultimately, I do not see the verdict of the judges playing a role in the outcome of this title fight main event.
I would go with the prop bet on Hunt winning via KO or TKO which is situated at -145.
Pick: Lorenzo Hunt (-245)
Ben Rothwell vs Bobo O’Bannon
Rothwell is a UFC veteran who was with the promotion from October 2009 to November 2021 (his most recent UFC bout) and the former IFL heavyweight champion is now readying for his bare-knuckle boxing debut.
O’Bannon is one of the more tenured heavyweight competitors in BKFC and has a one hundred percent finishing rate in bare-knuckle boxing. He is a seasoned warrior and has been in there with the current BKFC heavyweight champion, the current number one contender, as well as a former title contender.

O’Bannon has never gone the distance in BKFC competition and I do not see that changing this weekend. Though this is his BKFC debut, I think Rothwell has one of the best transferrable skillsets to make a big impact in this new sport.
For this co-main event, I would go with the prop bet on Rothwell winning via KO or TKO which is positioned at -205.
Pick: Ben Rothwell (-380)
Other Pick for BKFC 30:
- Kaleb Harris vs Harris Stephenson: This is a rematch with Stephenson garnering a razor-thin split decision win during the first fight at BKFC 5. This was the bare-knuckle debut for the former and was the third BKFC fight for the latter at the time Harris vs Stephenson I transpired. Harris is now a former welterweight title challenger and I think he has made more improvements to his game since the initial clash. I think the prop bet on Harris winning via KO or TKO situated at +160 presents good value in this sequel. Pick: Kaleb Harris (-140)
