The Oklahoma City Thunder looks to stay hot as they visit the Brooklyn Nets this Friday at 8 PM ET at the Barclays Center, in the best game of the night.
The Thunder is riding on a nine game winning streak that includes a tremendous victory 112-95 over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Kevin Durant scored 34 points and helped his team come from an 18 point deficit to win by a 17 point differential.
“They were ready for us to come in and play,” Durant said. “They hit some tough shots early on, a few 3’s, and we didn’t panic. We just tried to stay together, and that’s what we did. Our bench was great in getting us back in that game.”
OKC bench was a huge difference in the game as Derek Fisher scored 15 points and Jeremy Lamb added 18. “We’re just playing together, trying to really come together as a team,” Lamb said. “… It’s fun when you play like that, sharing the ball. Everyone’s having fun.”
Brooklyn was on a five game winning streak before they got stopped by the Toronto Raptors last Monday. The Nets have won 10 of their last 12 games including a victory against the Thunder in Oklahoma in that stretch; the two losses, however, came against the Raptors.
The Thunder is a 5 point favorite in the NBA odds for this Friday Night game. Brooklyn is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing at home against Oklahoma City.
