North Carolina Betting Trends
North Carolina had an awful shooting night in the loss to Duke on Saturday.
The Tar Heels made just 34.3% (24 of 70) of their field goal attempts, their second-lowest mark of the season. They were 7 of 27 (25.9%) on three-pointers.
The game was tied 57-all with 3:57 left. However, North Carolina missed its last five shots while Duke scored the final six points.
The Tar Heels also had 11 shots blocked, their most in eight years.
Senior forward Armando Bacot led North Carolina with 14 points and 10 rebounds. It was his 63rd career double-double, 14th this season and fifth in the last six games.

Bacot, who has +15000 Wooden Award odds, is averaging 17.5 points and 11.3 rebounds a game. He leads the ACC in rebounding, is third in scoring and his 56.3 field goal percentage stands fourth.
Senior forward Leaky Black notched his first double-double of 2022-23 with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Junior guard Caleb Love added 12 points and four assists and junior guard RJ Davis finished with 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.
North Carolina held Duke to 39.3% (24 of 61) shooting and kept the turnovers down with seven. However, the Tar Heels attempted just three free throws.
Love is averaging 16.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Davis has averages of 15.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
Wake Forest Betting Trends
Wake Forest, meanwhile, had a good shooting day Saturday to win at Notre Dame.
The Demon Deacons drained 52.7% (29 of 55) of their shots and were 14 of 30 (46.7%) from long distance. They went 11 of 19 on threes in the second half while turning a 27-26 halftime lead into a comfortable victory.
Wake Forest won by 17 points despite scoring just four points in the game’s first 10 minutes.
Junior guard Damari Monsanto had a career-high 28 points to lead the way. He was 9 of 15 from the floor, including 8 of 13 from three-point range.
The eight trifectas were a career-high for Monsanto, who is averaging 13.7 points a game. He has scored at least 20 points in two of the last three games and seven times this season.
Damari Monsanto is ridiculous. @WakeMBB
His 76 made 3s are 1st among all power-conference players.
He's taking 7.95 3s per game and hitting 42% from 3. The ONLY OTHER ACC player in the last 30 years to take that many 3s and hit that high a percentage is…

Senior guard Tyree Appleby has been outstanding after transferring from Florida. He has averages of 18.0 points, 6.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals. Appleby is first in the conference in assists and second in steals.
Against Notre Dame, he flirted with a triple-double as he finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
Freshman Bobi Klintman scored 10 points off the bench for Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons held Notre Dame to 38.0% (27 of 71) shooting overall and 19.0% (4 of 21) on three balls.
Sophomore guard Cameron Hildreth is averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists. A transfer from Delaware, junior forward Andrew Carr is scoring 11.6 points and pulling down 6.4 rebounds a game.
North Carolina vs Wake Forest Prediction
North Carolina has won three out of the last four in the series as well as nine of 11 and 13 of 16. The Tar Heels beat the Deacon Demons 88-79 on Jan. 4 at home behind Davis’ 27 points.
