Michigan Rolls; Georgia Stunned
Michigan rolled to a 42-3 victory over Iowa on Saturday night in the Big Ten Championship Game at Indianapolis.
Hassan Haskins rushed for two second-half touchdowns to set a school record. Freshman running back Donavan Edwards threw a 75-yard TD pass.
Edwards took a lateral from QB Cade McNamara and hit a wide-open Roman Wilson to give Michigan a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. That spurred the Wolverines to their fifth straight victory.

Haskins increased to his season rushing touchdown total to 20. That broke the record of 19 set by Ron Johnson in 1968.
Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchison was selected as the game’s Most Valuable Player after helping hold Iowa to just a field goal.
Georgia was upset 41-24 by Alabama in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s vaunted defense was carved up by Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. The freshman threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth while passing for 421 yards and finishing with 461 total yards.

Georgia had allowed an average of 6.9 points a game during the regular season. The Bulldogs also did not give up more than 17 points in any game.
Georgia’s Stetson Bennett threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns but was intercepted twice. Freshman tight end Brock Bowers had 10 receptions for 139 yards.
Georgia vs Michigan Injury Report
Both teams are in good shape from a health standpoint.
Georgia got offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer back Saturday following a four-game absence with a foot injury. Safety Chris Smith (knee) returned after missing two games.
Running back Kendall Milton (knee) missed his fifth straight game, though it was thought that he might be able to play after looking good in warmups. Milton has rushed 243 yards and one touchdown on 49 carries in six games this season.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says the Wolverines are as healthy as they have been all season.
Movement on the Line?
From a numerical standpoint, Georgia is still considered the best team in the country by some analysts despite the 17-point loss to Alabama. Team Rankings’ power ratings have the Bulldogs at No. 1 and USA Today’s Jeff Sagarin ranks them No. 2 behind Alabama.
The sharps are likely to consider Georgia’s performance in the SEC title game a bit of an aberration and bet the spread up a point.
