Xander Schauffele won the 2024 Open Championship. This was his second major victory in 2024. Schauffele won the tournament by two strokes after shooting -6 in Round 4.

  • [July 19] After having the solo lead through two rounds, Shane Lowry has moved from +3400 to +200 to win the Open Championship. Lowry is -7 through Friday and is the favorite to win the tournament
  • [July 19] Justin Rose and Daniel Brown are -5 through two rounds and have seen their odds move. Rose was +7250 before the tournament and is now +650. Brown was +40000 before The Open and is now +2350.
  • [July 9] Davis Thompson, the John Deere Classic winner, has moved into the Top 50 with +10000 odds to win the Open Championship.
  • [July 9] Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy’s odds continue to improve as Scheffler is +425 and McIlroy is +750.
  • [June 25] Scottie Scheffler’s odds improved slightly after winning the Travelers Championship. Scheffler has now won six of his last ten tournaments, and in two of those losses, he had a T2 finish.
  • [June 21] After winning the US Open, Bryson DeChambeau is now +1150 to win the 2024 Open Championship. At the end of May, DeChambeau had +3000 odds.
  • [June 21] Jon Rahm’s downfall continues. After some poor performances in the 2023 majors and then not participating in the US Open due to an injury, he has seen his odds drop from +1200 to win the Open Championship to +2300.
  • [May 22] Scottie Scheffler is the +450 favorite to win the 2024 Open Championship. Rory McIlroy is not far behind him at +800.
