The 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament began on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, and finished with the National Championship game on Monday, April 4, when the Kansas Jayhawks defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 72-69. The 2022 NCAA Tournament officially began on Tuesday, March 15, with two First Four in Dayton, Ohio. It was followed by the First Round, which began on Thursday, March 17.

The tournament wrapped up with the Final Four and National Championship Game at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
