- Strong field tees it up at the always fun AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
- Internet sensation Ho Sung Choi (and his wacky swing) playing on sponsors exemption
- We’ve narrowed down the golfers with the best chance of emerging victorious
It’s that time of year where the celebrities and pro golfers get together in the always entertaining and wildly unpredictable AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
There’s a bevy of strong players competing and this event has produced many iconic winners, but also has had a slew of lesser-knowns breaking through.
Last year was a perfect example with Ted Potter Jr. outlasting three sure-fire Hall of Famers (Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day) for just his second career PGA Tour title.

Jason Day Poised to Add to Trophy Collection
Jason Day has found himself oh-so-close to closing the deal at this event without getting over the finish line.
In four events this season he has nothing worse than a 13th place showing and is coming off a T-5th at the Farmers Insurance Open.
“I didn't really compete in the major championships. The way I finished the FedExCup, I didn't finish well there.”

Bank on Day finally getting it done this week at Pebble Beach, which is a tune up of sorts for the US Open held here in June.

Internet Sensation Ho-Sung Choi Bringing Talents to Pebble Beach
If you haven’t seen the golfer that is sweeping social media then you’re in luck because Ho-Sung Choi has a swing you have to see to believe.
While you were grinding to break 90 over the holiday, Ho-sung Choi and this swing won on the Japan Golf Tour.

Choi is competing on a sponsors exemption and has become such a sensation that even Aaron Rodgers wants to tee it up with him!
Can we expect to see Ho-sung Choi and @AaronRodgers12 paired together at Pebble Beach?

It’s not as if Choi doesn’t have game either. He won on the Japan Tour in November. However, with his odds +35000, you’d be wise to allocate your money elsewhere.
Will Phil Mickelson Tie AT&T Pebble Beach Win Record?
Phil Mickelson has had a weird 2019. Second at the Desert Classic, but then laid an egg missing the cut in Phoenix.
Two of the last three years, however, he’s finished second at Pebble Beach. Expect him to be right in the thick of things come Sunday.

Last 5 Pebble Beach Pro-Am Winners
Year | Winner |

2016 | Vaughn Taylor |
2015 | Brandt Snedeker |
2014 | Jimmy Walker |
2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Best Value Picks
- Branden Grace (+3300): Runner-up last week in Phoenix. Respectable T-20th showing in tournament debut last year.
- Brandt Snedeker (+5000): Two-time winner of this event (2013, 2015) and finished fourth in 2017.
- Cameron Champ (+6600): Has cooled off after a scorching start to his season which led to victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Despite struggles in last three events, these odds are too good to pass up for a stud like Champ.
