Dinger Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. We get a full MLB slate which means we have a million games to pick through. On slates like this, it’s important to find Circle of Trust guys facing off against turkey tosser pitchers. With so many games, it’s actually easy. The thing is, we’re not looking for dingers with the parlay we’re about to read about. I know it’s Dinger Tuesday and all but we’ve got to evolve. (We can still bet dingers today.)
What we’re looking for today are guys hitting at the top of their order, which should cash a low Hits + Runs + RBI number. This market is my favorite offensive market at the moment so we need to exploit the thing. Feels right.

Tuesday MLB Parlay Leg #1 – Oneil Cruz Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
We want guys hitting piss missiles in these types of parlays and there isn’t a better candidate than Oneil Cruz. If you’ve ever seen this guy swing a bat, then you know he’s a problem for opposing pitchers. What’s even better is, he’s been leading off for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Even better than that, look at his barrel rate against the two pitches he should see the most tonight from starter Jake Irvin.
Performance versus pitch mix is great and all but we need guys smashing baseballs at the moment as well. Guys that are slumping at the moment really does us no good. We are in a today business so we want results today. That’s just how today businesses work.
Lucky for us, Cruz is firing on all cylinders. Just last night we saw him smoke one ball 115 mph and another 108 mph. I was worried about him after missing a few games but it looks like he’s back. We should cash this in his first at bat. Feels easy.

Tuesday MLB Parlay Leg #2 – Brent Rooker Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Sticking with piss missile guys, how about Brent Rooker. Not only is he killing the ball at the moment, he’s also batting second in the Oakland Athletic’s batting order. He’s got Lawrence Butler in front of him and Tyler Soderstrom behind him to boot. He’s perfect for this H+R+RBI market.
Just look at what he does against the top two offerings from the opposing starting pitcher tonight, Sean Burke.
Not to beat a dead horse, but we want guys that are currently slaughtering baseballs in these things. Brent Rooker checks that box. The man has had five 100+ mph hits since April 9th and he didn’t eve play yesterday. That’s pretty legit.
He’ll see Sean Burke who might turn out to be a decent pitcher someday but he’s got issues at the moment. Namely his four-seamer and his slider. Rooker has already hit this guy over the fence in the past so he could easily get home on this with a a dinger. We don’t even need all that. Feels easy.
