  • We’ve got our second full day of the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 21
  • At this point, it’s time to parlay some alt totals for all the vibes
  • See below for my +876 March Madness Parlay for Friday

The first two days of the NCAA Tournament need to be attacked as two halves. No matter what happened yesterday, today is a new day. We’ve got 16 new opportunities staring us in the face so it’s time to lock in. One of my favorite things to do on a day like this is to take my two favorite totals and parlay them. There’s a twist though. We don’t want the standard total. We want the alt lines. Jack it up a little bit. Especially since FanDuel has a No Sweat bet just sitting in all of our accounts. This could easily be the greatest day of our lives. Maybe better.

March Madness Friday Parlay Leg #1 – Memphis vs Colorado State Over 155.5

When it comes to totals, I’m an over guy. There’s just something about having an over and rooting for it to cash. It’s always in play until it’s no longer in play. I love it.

The thing is, it takes a team to go over, not just one guy. Lucky for us, PJ Haggerty is the epitome of a “team guy.”

I look for tempo first so we want a team that plays fast and Memphis certainly fits that description. According to KenPom, they play at the 26th fastest adjusted tempo in the entire country. We should see the ball flying up and down the court which is what we want.

The other thing we want is an opponent that scores and Colorado State fits the bill. They’ve got the 24th-best effective field goal percentage in the country. If these guys have to speed up, then we’re looking at a banner game offensively. We only need a 79-75 type game here people. That’s doable.

March Madness Friday Parlay Leg #2 – Bryant vs Michigan State Over 161.5

Since we’re looking for tempo, we’re looking for teams like Bryant. On the season, they went 7th fastest in the country. We’re talking up and down, up and down, up and down. Think track meet.

The thing is, these guys are good. Some are saying they are the most underrated 15 seed in recent years.

Bryant’s only chance in this game is to run as fast as possible. I know that, you know that, they know that. The thing is, they can actually score. They were 29th in the country this season in points per game. The Bulldogs average an 80-burger every time they put their uniforms on.

The only issue is Michigan State and their defense. They were fifth best in the country this season in adjusted defensive efficiency. That’s no joke. Still, their offense is good and the fast pace could easily soften them up a little. It’s not crazy to think this thing could end with a 90-72 type score. Feels right.

  • The Bet: Bryant/Michigan State Over 161.5 (+220) – FanDuel
