  • September 22: Judge is the presumptive 2024 AL MVP at -10000 odds. Bobby Witt Jr is the second-favorite at +1300.
  • August 6: The AL MVP odds are no longer competitive. Judge has shortened to -1224 on average with second-favorite Bobby Witt Jr at +550 and third-favorite Gunnar Henderson further back at +1583.
  • July 11: Even though his Yankees are gone into freefall, Aaron Judge (-332) is a heavy, odds-on favorite to win his third AL MVP award. Gunnar Henderson is a +318 second-favorite. No other player is shorter than +1500 in what’s become a two-horse race.
  • June 10: Judge’s has been hitting the cover off the ball over the last two weeks and surged to +121. Soto (+431) is now second. Henderson (+497) has also seen dramatic improvement over the past month.
  • May 29: Soto (+252), Witt (+327), and Judge (+328) are neck-and-neck at the top of the 2024 AL MVP odds as of late May.
  • April 25: Soto (+265) continues to improve but so do his main competitors; Witt has shortened to +458 while Gunnar Henderson is now the +808 fourth-favorite.
  • April 10: Soto has shortened to +356 as he powers the Yankees to a 10-2 start. KC’s Bobby Witt Jr has moved into the top five at +1000.
  • March 27: Ahead of Opening Day some sportsbooks have moved Juan Soto ahead of teammate Aaron Judge in the AL MVP odds. Soto’s average odds are better than Judge’s as we enter the season.
  • March 14: The New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge (+550) is a slight favorite over new teammate Juan Soto (+590) and the Houston Astros’ Yordan Alvarez (+890).

  • September 22: While Ohtani (-1405) remains the heavy favorite in the NL MVP odds, a huge second half from Francisco Lindor (+683) has kept oddsmakers from taking this market off the board.
  • August 6: Shohei Ohtani (-1364) is turning the NL MVP race into a runaway. Ketel Marte is the current second-favorite at a distant +1192 on average. Bryce Harper has faded to a +1675 third-favorite.
  • July 11: With Betts out for up to eight weeks with a broken hand, LAD teammate and two-time AL MVP Shohei Ohtani is they heavy favorite to win NL MVP during his first season on the Senior Circuit. Fellow two-time MVP Bryce Harper is now the second-favorite.
  • June 10: Betts has faded slightly to +143 as Harper (+417) makes his annual charge up the board.
  • May 29: Betts (+127) continues to shorten with teammate Ohtani (+376) his only serious challenger. Third-favorite Contreras is back at +858.
  • April 25: Betts improved to +252, well ahead of second-favorite and reigning NL MVP Acuna (+725) and two-time AL MVP Ohtani (+858).
  • April 10: Betts (+386) has surpassed Acuna (+560) for top spot in the NL MVP odds with Tatis (+960) sitting third.
  • March 14: Reigning NL MVP Ronald Acuna (+495) is the early favorite over Mookie Betts (+660) and newest LA Dodgers Shohei Ohtani (+840), who captured the AL MVP in 2020 and 2023.
