The NBA leading Oklahoma City Thunder (44-9, 18-6 away) infiltrate Minnesota for a date with the Timberwolves (30-25, 15-13 home). Both squads competed Wednesday night, with OKC dispatching the Heat 115-101 with a wild fourth quarter comeback, and the T-Wolves dropped a tight one, 103-101 to the Bucks. The top-seeded Thunder, who outscored the Heat 32-8 in the fourth quarter, are a road favorite over the West’s seventh ranked Timberwolves in Thursday’s NBA odds. Action tips off from the Target Center in Minneapolis at 8:30pm ET. TNT will carry the broadcast.

With both teams coming off a game Wednesday, their injury reports aren’t out yet. OKC, however, won’t have Cason Wallace (shoulder strain), Ajay Mitchell (toe surgery) has been out since January, and their first round pick this year Nikola Topic hasn’t played at all (torn ACL).

Minnesota, meanwhile, won’t have the services of Julius Randle (adductor strain) or Donte DiVincenzo (toe).

No surprise that NBA MVP odds favorite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has the highest points prop, set at 31.5, having dropped 40 on Minny in the previous meeting. Anthony Edwards is set at 28.5 for Minnesota. He had 20 points against OKC on NYE. This is the final game for both teams before the All-Star break. They’ll then return for one contest, then face each other again in a home-and-home affair February 23rd and 24th.

Minny has been limping, with four defeats in their last seven, including one to the league worst Wizards. They lost by two to the Bucks Wednesday, who didn’t have their two best players in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.
