As we inch closer to kickoff for Super Bowl 59, more and more betting markets are being released. The latest involves cross-sports specials props, featuring stars from the Big Game and the NBA. Unfortunately, these are not two-way markets, so there’s no way we can short a specific player. Nevertheless, there’s value to be found in this rare market, so keep reading for the latest odds and our favorite bets.
Super Bowl 59 Cross-Sports Specials
All of these props are offered at plus-money odds, with the exception of the first. DeVonta Smith is a -135 favorite to have more receiving yards than Giannis Antetokounmpo Pts+Reb+Ast, despite Smith averaging 24 fewer yards per playoff game than in the regular season.

Super Bowl 59 Cross-Sport Special Picks
- Saquon Barkley 200+ Rushing Yards or Tyrese Maxey 40+ Points (+370)
Our Super Bowl Cross-Sports Specials card starts with a bet on talent. Or two talents to be more precise. We’ll target either Saquon Barkley to rush for 200+ yards, or Tyrese Maxey to score 40+ points.
Of the two, Maxey is the far more likelier candidate to hit, but the beauty of this wager is that we have two outs. Barkley has hit that mark twice already this season, and has six additional outings with at least 146 rushing yards. The Chiefs are short favorites in the Super Bowl 59 odds, suggesting a tight scoring game. That should translate into more carries for Barkley, as Philly won’t likely have to abandon the run in catchup mode.
The Big Game is being played inside, which is a major advantage for Barkley. Over his career, he averages 6 yards per carry in a dome, compared to 4.5 yards outside. He had 17 rushes of 20+ yards in the regular season, and has back-to-back games with at least one 60+ yard rush.
Maxey meanwhile, is taking more field goal attempts than any player in basketball. He’s put up at least 20 attempts in 11 of 12 games, with highs of 32, and 28 twice. At that rate, we can bet on volume rather than efficiency, which is far more predictable. He’s reached the 40-point mark four times this season, including twice over the last 10 days.
Super Bowl Cross-Sports Specials Predictions
- Travis Kelce More Receptions than Giannis Antetokounmpo Rebounds (+1400)
The next bet is a bit of a leap of faith, targeting more Travis Kelce receptions than Giannis Antetokounmpo rebounds at +1400 odds. We can safely pencil in 10+ boards for Giannis, but his matchup on the glass will be significantly more challenging versus the Sixers if Joel Embiid plays.
That leaves us needing a monster game from Playoff Kelce, something we’ve seen many times before. Kelce has the most postseason receptions in history, and has five 10+ catch playoff games in the Mahomes era.
That includes multiple 12 catch outings, and one 14 reception game in 2022. The matchup is favorable, as the Eagles defense forces short targets over the middle. They bank on enemy offenses making mistakes or getting impatient, but Mahomes is more than willing to dink and dunk his way down the field to Kelce.
In three postseason games this year, the Eagles have surrendered 27 tight end receptions, including 13 to the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
