If you love a circus, you won’t want to miss tonight’s battle between the NBA’s two biggest freaks. Giannis Antetokounmpo, AKA the Greek Freak, leads the Milwaukee Bucks (26-19, 9-12 away) into San Antonio to face budding superstar Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs (20-24, 12-11 home). Online sportsbooks expect a high-scoring affair per the latest NBA odds, and we agree. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:10 pm ET at the Frost Bank Center, in San Antonio, TX.

Milwaukee Bucks vs San Antonio Spurs Predictions
- Over 233 (-110) at Caesars
There are multiple reasons to expect a high-scoring affair tonight. For one, the injury reports for both teams are clean. There was some initial doubt about Antetokounmpo (knee) and Khris Middleton’s (injury management) availability, but both are probable. San Antonio’s roster is at 100%, with zero players from either the first or second unit on the injury report.
In terms of the Antetokounmpo versus Wembanyama matchup, expect fireworks. Giannis is averaging a career high 32 points per game, and is one of only two players to average 25+ with over 12 rebounds. Wembanyama meanwhile, is averaging 24 points per game, up three points from his rookie campaign. He’s also pulling in 11 boards, while shooting a career best 36% from three.
The Frenchman’s success, along with increased contributions from Devin Vassell and Jeremy Sochan, has helped San Antonio steadily improve offensively. They’ve upped their scoring every month since October, going from 103.6 ppg to 114. Now, if only they could do something about their defense.
The Spurs have allowed 122 points per game in January. They’re yielding a 48% field goal percentage overall, including 40% from three. That’s bad news against the Bucks, who are top-10 in field goal percentage from both inside and outside the arc.
Antetokounmpo, a perennial NBA MVP odds contender, and Damian Lillard are combining for 57 points per night, while Milwaukee is averaging 119 points per game this month, on 50% shooting.
Also working in favor of the over are the trends. Milwaukee and San Antonio are a combined 15-2 to the over in their last 17 games. The over has hit in 21 of the Bucks last 34 road games dating back to last season, while seven straight Spurs outings have gone over the total.
MIL vs SAS Player Props

Given the state of the Spurs defense, we should expect efficient scoring from the Bucks. That’s great news for Damian Lillard, especially from downtown. Lillard has chucked 40 three-point attempts in his last five outings. His efficiency hasn’t been great, but that is likely to change tonight.
Even with mediocre success from three, he’s still put up 26+ points in five of seven outings. He’s averaging over 38 minutes during that stretch, and we can bank on another heavy does of minutes in a projected close game.
Pick: Damian Lillard Over 26.5 Points (-115) at Caesars
