  • It’s time to lock in and start getting our bets in for the huge 14-game NBA Slate on Saturday, January 25, 2025
  • My favorite way to bet the NBA is by utilizing player props and that’s what we’ll do in this article
  • See my favorite NBA player props below for the gigantic NBA Slate on Saturday

Now that football season is winding down, but we have to keep our heads up. We can’t cry and sulk because we’ve still got other sports to bet. Namely, NBA basketball. What’s even better is, we’ve got the biggest NBA slate I’ve seen in some time on Saturday. We’re talking 14 games so there is plenty of action. All we have to do is go through every single game with a keen eye for detail, and figure out where to deploy our capital. Lucky for us, I’ve already done that and found two plus-money bangers that have no chance of losing. Keep reading.

Victor Wembanyama Will Get Loose

As we already know, the NBA is in France at the moment. Well, not the whole NBA, just the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. The same San Antonio Spurs team that employs Victor Wembanyama who is from France. I think you know where I’m going with this.

Let’s not forget, this guy is capable of dropping a 50-burger if he wants to.

Here’s the thing, this is a little bit about narrative. I know there are a lot of sports bettors out there that don’t like narratives, but whatever. These are our bets so if we want to take a stroll down Narrative Street to get to where we’re going, it’s fine. Plus, narratives in the NBA are a thing. They just are.

The fact that Wemby is in France actually means something to me. We can’t listen to people who tell us that a guy like Wemby, playing in his home country means nothing. It’s just not believable. In his first game in France, the guy took 21 shots in just 30 minutes. We actually got lucky that the game ended up being a blowout so he didn’t keep scoring. That would have killed our line today.

The beauty of this whole thing is the fact that Wemby is actually good. Some narratives are killed because the guy we’re supposed to be betting on just isn’t that good. That’s not the case here. It’s Wemby, in a pace-up game, in France. Let’s not overthink this thing. Feels right.

Kel’el Ware Is a Glass Cleaner

I’m a big “new guy” guy. Give me the new, up-and-coming star and I’ll throw my cash on him. There’s just something about a fresh new star in the NBA that makes me want to gamble. I never want that to change.

Lucky for us, the new, fresh start, Kel’el Ware, is actually on a heater right now.

The Miami Heat have two centers these days. It’s super strange give the way basketball is played these days but whatever. We don’t make decisions, we just bet on these guys. And not for nothing, Kel’el Ware has been fun to bet on recently.

The starting two centers thing has only been going on for two games but Ware has turned in a double-double in both of those games. I’m borderline kidding when I say “two centers” because Bam Adebayo has simply been moved to power forward while Ware starts at center. Still, two centers are basically on the floor at the same time with this new starting lineup.

The reason Ware being a center is important is because Miami’s opponent Saturday hemorrhages rebounds to opposing centers. It’s noticeable. Just last game, Nick Richards grabbed 15 boards in just 21 minutes of work. The game before that, Karl-Anthony Towns pulled down 16. All I’m saying is, Ware could easily grab us 11 and at +140, it would be irresponsible to not bet this. Feels right.

The Pick: Kel’el Ware 11+ Rebounds (+140) – Fanatics
