Mixon leads all rushers with a prop of 15.5 carries and 58.5 yards, while teammate Nico Collins has the highest reception line at 6.5, and receiving yards prop at 85.5.

Texans vs Chiefs Prop #1: Dalton Schultz Receiving Yards

The Chiefs do an excellent job of funnelling targets away from wide receivers. That could entice you to fade Collins, but another option would be to buy Dalton Schultz.

KC allowed a league-high 1,191 receiving yards to tight ends this season, and at least 40 receiving yards in 12 of 17 games. Schultz had five catches for 45 yards back in the Week 16 meeting with the Chiefs, and is in line for more opportunity this week.

That’s because Houston is thin in terms of receiving options. Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs are out, as is backup tight end Cade Stover. That means Schultz will dominate the tight end routes. He ran a route on 87% of Stroud’s dropbacks last week, and Houston should be forced into a passing script early and often as 8.5-point underdogs in the Texans vs Chiefs odds.

  • Pick: Dalton Schultz Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at FanDuel)

Texans vs Chiefs Prop #2: Marquise Brown Receptions

Kansas City enters play as the second choice in the Super Bowl 59 odds. You can make an argument this is the deepest skill position group Mahomes has ever had, which is especially true at receiver.

Kelce, Xavier Worthy, DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown are all players that can give defenses fits. As a unit, they’ll see plenty of work, but it’s hard to project a ton of volume for each individually.

That’s what makes fading Brown so enticing at plus-money odds. For one, he’ll lineup primarily on the outside, which is the strength of the Houston DB’s. The Chargers torched the Texans with Ladd McConkey out of the slot last week, but got little production from the outside.

Brown meanwhile, has seen the fewest snaps of all full-time KC pass catches since his return from injury. He’s likely still not operating at 100%, and with the Chiefs projected to be playing from ahead, less passing volume is to be expected on Saturday.

  • Pick: Marquise Brown Under 3.5 Receptions (+125 MGM)

Texans vs Chiefs Touchdown Props

Player First TD Anytime TD
Travis Kelce (KC) +700 +150
Isiah Pacheco (KC) +750 +150
Joe Mixon (HOU) +800 +130
Kareem Hunt (KC) +850 +170
Xavier Worthy (KC) +950 +205
Nico Collins (HOU) +1100 +170
Marquise Brown (KC) +1200 +285
DeAndre Hopkins (KC) +1200 +265
Patrick Mahomes (KC) +1500 +380
Dalton Schultz (HOU) +2000 +340

Switching to the touchdown props market, Kelce is the favorite to score first, while Mixon has the shortest anytime TD odds at +130.

Texans vs Chiefs Prop #3: Kareem Hunt Anytime TD

We’re not buying Mixon at that price, but a bit further down the board we find Kareem Hunt. The 29-year-old led the Chiefs in rushing TD this season with 7, scoring in each of his last two games, including versus the Texans.

Even though Isiah Pacheco is back, it’s been Hunt that has seen more RB touches lately. He out-carried Pacheco 33 to 28 over the final four weeks, and will play more often when KC goes hurry up or in two minute situations.

Hunt saw 42 red zone carries this season, 15th in the NFL, and converted seven of 24 attempts inside the 10 into scores.

  • Pick: Kareem Hunt Anytime TD (+170)
