Manning Kick of Destiny 3 Commercial Kicks Off FanDuel Super Bowl Ad Campaign

In true Manning fashion, the third installment of Kick of Destiny at FanDuel was announced with a commercial chock full of their wry sense of humor, a childhood “flashback,” and a prosthetic nose.

Eli Manning claims in the ad that he’s always dreamed of being a kicker and hitting the game-winning field goal in the Super Bowl, only to be mocked by a mustachioed Peyton, who claims Eli is destined to play quarterback like his brother and father.

Look, the Mannings are funny, and this promotion allows them to show that off, just like Rob Gronkowski was able to in the previous two years. Can they kick? That’s still to be determined.

Manning Brothers FanDuel Kick of Destiny 3 Rules

If the Manning brother of your choosing wins on Super Bowl Sunday, you’ll receive a share of $10 million in bonus bets, which will be added to your account come Monday, Feb. 10, 2025.

The competition will take place during the Super Bowl Pregame Show, with each Manning attempting a 25-yard FG. If one makes and the other misses, the competition is over. If both make or both miss, they’ll try again with a maximum of three rounds. If they’re still tied after three rounds, the winner will be decided by who kicked the ball closest to the center.

This is the third year for FanDuel Kick of Destiny, with Rob Gronkowski attempting the first two. In Year 1, Gronk was kicking to give all FanDuel bettors who made a wager on the Super Bowl a share of $10 million in bonus bets. He missed. This past year, bettors were able to choose whether he’d make it or not. He missed again.

Chiefs Open as Favorite Over Eagles in Super Bowl 59

The Super Bowl matchup is now set, after the Eagles and Chiefs each took care of business in their respective conference championship games.

Kansas City held off Buffalo on a classic AFC Championship matchup, while Philadelphia overwhelmed Washington in the NFC.

The Chiefs, who are looking for a record third straight title, opened as a 1.5 or 2 point favorite Sunday night, depending on the sportsbook.
