  • With just ten more games to be played in Week 17, our NFL parlay options are slightly limited for Sunday
  • I still managed to put together two NFL parlays I feel good about
  • Check out my higher-probability and longshot NFL parlays for Week 17

With six games already having been played in Week 17, we are left with nine games today (Sunday) and one more on Monday. The lack of games, along with some matchups carrying no meaning besides draft order, resulted in me having to dig a little deeper to find some good NFL parlay legs for Week 17. I still managed to put together a longshot parlay with 154-1 odds, though, as well as my higher-probability parlay.

I hit three of five legs in my longshot NFL parlay last week, making it profitable again to bet each leg as a single, but missed my higher-probability parlay because of an inefficient game from Khalil Shakir. Here’s my next attempt at hitting a big parlay this season.

Longshot NFL Parlay for Week 17

Parlay Legs Odds
Cowboys Moneyline +280
Bucky Irving 125+ Rushing & Receiving +175
Ameer Abdullah 30+ Receiving Yards +230
Bijan Robinson Anytime TD -150
Michael Penix 225+ Passing Yards +200
TOTAL 5-LEG PARLAY +15418

My longshot NFL parlay for Week 17 includes the five legs above and the best odds you can find are +15418 at bet365. The only other sportsbook where I could put this parlay together was DraftKings, but their payout was way behind at 98-1. A $5 bet on this NFL parlay would stand to win $770.91 and return $775.91.

I’m getting this longshot NFL parlay started with a big swing, taking the Cowboys moneyline. I discussed in detail why I like Dallas to pull off the upset in the Week 17 NFL picks. The gist is that I don’t think Kenny Pickett is a good quarterback, and don’t believe the Eagles offense can operate effectively with him under center.

Next up is Bucky Irving for 125+ rushing and receiving yards. The rookie has only accomplished this feat in two of 15 games this season, but both of those performances have come in the last five weeks and one of those games was against the same Panthers defense Irving faces in Week 17. Irving gashed Carolina’s defense for 185 yards from scrimmage, and I like him to have another big performance in what’s a must-win game for the Buccaneers.

The third leg of this parlay is Ameer Abdullah for 30+ receiving yards. Abdullah has cleared this milestone easily in each of his last two games, as well as three of his last five. The Raiders RB has also seen at least six targets in three of his last five games. I like Abdullah to continue working as Las Vegas’ passing-down back at the very least, but with Alexander Mattison being incredibly ineffective since returning, it wouldn’t surprise me if Abdullah saw some extra snaps. I don’t think the Raiders offense is good enough to ever play with too much of a positive game script, so I like Abdullah to get his opportunities again.

The next leg is a Bijan Robinson anytime TD. I went into why I like Robinson to score in my Week 17 NFL touchdown picks.

The final leg of my longshot parlay is from the same game as above, and is Michael Penix to throw for 225+ yards. The rookie only threw for 201 yards in his NFL debut last week, but that was his first start and came in a game where they had a two-score lead by halftime. I think the Falcons will find themselves playing from behind, or at the very least with a lot more urgency than last week, leading to more than 27 pass attempts and Penix being forced to push the ball downfield a little more.

Higher-Probability Week 17 NFL Parlay

Parlay Legs Odds
Brock Bowers 50+ Receiving Yards -330
Browns Under 20.5 Points -340
Lions Moneyline -198
TOTAL 3-LEG PARLAY +153

My three-leg higher-probability NFL parlay for Week 17 is best played at DraftKings, where you can get +153 odds. It just slightly beats out bet365’s +151 odds for this parlay.

The first leg of this parlay is Brock Bowers for 50+ receiving yards. In the three games Aidan O’Connell has started and finished this season, Bowers has posted 71 receiving yards, 140, and 99. The rookie tight end is O’Connell’s favorite target, and I don’t believe the Saints will be able to remove him from the game.

Next up is the Cleveland Browns’ team total under 20.5 points. In Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s first start of the season, he scored six points against a Bengals defense that’s allowing the fifth-most points in the league. The Dolphins, their opponent today, rank 11th in points allowed and have only given up more than 20 points in seven of 15 games this year. Cleveland has scored more than 20 points in just three of 15 games, and all three were Jameis Winston starts. DTR is not Winston. He is not a good QB, and I am confident he will struggle again.

The last leg is the Detroit Lions moneyline. Detroit is currently laying 3.5 points in San Francisco on Monday Night Football. The 49ers are not the team they have been over the last few years, and I think the Lions are going to be out for revenge after last year’s NFC Championship game collapse. I appreciate San Francisco’s offense will benefit from having Isaac Guerendo back in the lineup, but I don’t think they’ll be able to keep up with the Lions this time. Detroit will dominate the line of scrimmage and run the ball at will.
