Chiefs vs Steelers Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Patrick Mahomes Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes

After starting the campaign with a surprisingly low eight touchdown passes (against nine INT’s) in his first seven contests, Patrick Mahomes has settled into a groove. He’s thrown for 15 TD’s and just two picks in his last eight affairs.

Selecting him to toss for two or more touchdowns is a bit of a dicey proposition, given that he’s thrown just one in three of four games, but he’s up against a Steelers D that’s allowed at least two TD passes in each of their past four battles (ten total touchdowns through the air). In his career against Pittsburgh, the Chiefs pivot has thrown for a whopping nine scores in just two meetings.

Chiefs vs Steelers SGP Pick #2: Xavier Worthy Anytime Touchdown Scorer

If we are going with Mahomes to have a big day through the air, it would make sense to pair one of his passing targets up to catch one his touchdown passes. Last week, the Chiefs pivot connected with rookie standout Xavier Worthy for a TD strike, which was his team-leading eighth time finding the end zone on the campaign. It was the second straight game he’s found pay dirt.

Worthy has been targeted a ton of late, with at least six targets the last five times suiting up, including eleven in each of the last two battles. Adding a touchdown to this KC vs PIT SGP is a bit risky, but it adds serious juice to the final value.

Chiefs vs Steelers SGP Pick #3: Pat Freiermuth Receptions

For the campaign, no team allows more yards per game to tight ends than the Kansas City Chiefs (72.7). Subsequently, KC has surrendered 6.27 receptions per outing versus tight ends, third worst in the NFL. The Steelers will look to exploit that with mainstay Pat Freiermuth.

Freiermuth has been as consistent as they come, hauling in 3+ receptions in five straight and six of seven contests, which would put him over his 2.5 total. Expect him to have a strong day against a Chiefs weakness. Add it all up, and hitting on a +600 SGP would be a nice present over the holiday season.
