  • College football gamblers will see the greatest College Football slate in history Saturday, October 12, 2024
  • There are a million great games, but two have caught my eye, and both need to be pounded
  • See the best way to bet on these Saturday college football games below

I was looking for college football bangers as I always do, and one thing became very clear immediately. This is the greatest slate of college football games I’ve ever seen. It’s actually crazy. Go look for yourself. It’s glorious.

The only problem with a slate like this is figuring out which game to bet. I mean, there are a million great games, so it’s not that easy. Lucky for us, I went deep diving. Like real deep. Like deeper than I’ve ever dove. Once I did that, it became clear that we needed to be in on two games. The first one is the Ohio State Buckeyes/Oregon Ducks game. The second one is the Ole Miss/LSU jumpoff. This could be the greatest Saturday of our lives.

Oregon Will Turn Up

Just a couple weeks ago, I thought that Georgia/Alabama was the best possible game we could get. After thinking more about it, and seeing this week’s slate, I may have been wrong. The Oregon/Ohio State game is literally be must-watch television.

What makes it even better is, these two teams have history.

I know the haters are going to say that the total in this thing was 57.5 back in April and then dropped all the way to 52.5 by October. We all know that. But here’s the thing. Some late over money pushed the total back up to 54.5 over the last couple of days. The people are seeing that this is a low-key, undercover over spot.

Both of these two teams have athletes all over the field. Both sidelines are littered with dawgs. This is the exact type of game where these kids eat. Especially since the total is so low. Oregon has gone for a 30-burger in each of their last four games. If you watched last week, all kinds of weird stuff had to happen to keep them from hanging 40+ on Michigan State. My guess is, they clean that up and score at least 27 Saturday night. Feels right.

  • The Pick: Oregon Ducks Team Total Over 25.5 (+128) – FanDuel (with 50% boost)

LSU Might Make it Rain

The only thing that will make the Ohio State/Oregon game better is to have another bet going at the same time. Two bets at once is always the way. Many would argue that two is the minimum we should have going at once, so we’re kind of slacking.

Lucky for us, we’ve got a Saturday night game at Death Valley.

The haters aren’t going to like this, but we have to do it. I get that Ole Miss has looked good on defense, but who have they really played? Go look at their schedule. We’re talking Kentucky and South Carolina from the SEC. No offense to them, but they’re not LSU. Keep reading.

The thing that Ole Miss has yet to see this season is a quarterback that can throw a forward pass. Not only does LSU have one of those, they also have absolute beasts catching passes for them. It’s quite the system over there. I’m not saying they’re riding this passing game to a win, but if you tell me we can bet LSU to score at least 30 points at +111, I’m doing it 100 out of 100 times. Feels right.

  • The Pick: LSU Tigers Team Total Over 29.5 (+111) – FanDuel (With 50% Boost)
  • 2024 NCAAF SBD Release Results – 5-5 (+.48 Units)
