Justin Fields & George Pickens Will Get Loose Tonight

We need to start this thing with a quarterback/wide receiver combo. It just makes sense when you’re putting one of these things together. When the quarterback gets passing yards, his wide receiver gets receiving yards. It’s a beautiful thing.

Lucky for us, one quarterback/wide receiver combo in this game is still being priced like they’re bums.

The haters look at Justin Fields and think he’s just a running back playing the quarterback position. Just look at his passing yards prop at the sportsbooks. We’re looking at 186.5 passing yards here people. That’s basically the books’ way of saying, “This guy stinks”. It’s sad.

But here’s the thing. Justin Fields can sling the rock. Just last week, he went for 300+ passing yards like it was nothing. The week before, he dropped 245 of the Los Angeles Chargers. Take a look at the number we need for him tonight. It’s 150. Make it make sense.

A big reason Fields has looked so legit is wide receiver, George Pickens. The man is an absolute beast. He can run every route and his hands are as soft as a baby’s behind. He could literally catch a BB in the dark. He’s getting 50+ receiving yards tonight. Everyone knows that.

CeeDee Lamb Is Wild

An old-school DFS strategy is to stack a quarterback/wide receiver on one team, and then roster a wide receiver from the opponent. It’s called “running it back” on the streets. The theory is, if one team is slinging it around the yard, the other team will likely counter by getting loose with their passing game.

The obvious candidate for our run-back is CeeDee Lamb. The man literally talks trash to his opponents mid-play because he’s so much better.

With Brandin Cooks out, and Pittsburgh getting wild in the air, CeeDee should be busy Sunday night. We don’t even need him to go full CeeDee either at this number and price. We’re talking 60+ yards here. He’s done that in every game this season. I’d be shocked if he didn’t get this by halftime. Feels right.
