Notes on the 2023-24 Ligue 1 title odds movement over the course of the season:

  • [Apr 29] Paris Saint-Germain missed a chance to capture the title on their own terms, but their draw with Le Havre only precluded the inevitable. Monaco’s loss to Lyon the following day guaranteed Les Parisiens the 2023-24 Ligue 1 title.
  • [Feb 14] No significant changes to note as of late, with PSG (-10000) eleven points clear of Nice (+3500) on the Ligue 1 table.
  • [Dec 28] Monaco’s lead over the last couple of months has vanished with PSG now leading in the Christmas break with 40 points and being heavly favored at -2500. Nice at 35 points and Monaco at 33 points are next in the table. Despite being an impressive fourth overall with 31 points, Brest are still wide outsiders at odds of +5000
  • [Oct 10] Leading Ligue 1 at 5-2-1 and 17 points, Monaco’s odds have shortened from +2200 in the summer to +1000 now. PSG are still wide favorites at -500 though
  • [Jul 24] PSG are early favorites to win another Ligue 1 title at -390 odds

Last year’s title came down to the wire with PSG edging out Lens with 85 points to 84. PSG finished the season at 27-4-7 with a goal-differential of +49. The five then finished with Marseille (73 points), Rennes (68) and Lille (67).

The top goal scorer was Kylian Mbappe with 29 goals, topping the list ahead of Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette with 27.
