Celtics Betting Trends
The Celtics enter on a five-game winning streak and have already clinched the number one seed in the East. In their last game on Sunday, Boston defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 124-107 despite resting several starters in the fourth quarter. Jaylen Brown led the way with 26 points.
Over their last ten games, the Celtics are 8-2 straight up and 6-4 against the spread (ATS). The total has gone over in 8 of those ten contests. On the road, Boston is an impressive 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games in Milwaukee.

In terms of Celtics injuries, center Al Horford (toe) and forward Kristaps Porzingis (possible rest) are questionable. NBA MVP odds candidate Jayson Tatum is probable with a knee issue.
Defensively, Boston ranks 2nd in the NBA in opponent field goal percentage and 3-point percentage. They have the personnel to make things difficult on Giannis and the Bucks’ other scorers. In the playoffs, defense often travels.
Bucks Betting Trends
Meanwhile, the Bucks are reeling, having lost four straight games and six of their last seven overall. Milwaukee is trying to hold off the surging Orlando Magic and New York Knicks for the 2-seed in the East. In their most recent loss on Sunday, the Bucks fell 122-109 at home to the Knicks despite leading by 11 at halftime.
Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from a one-game absence (hamstring) to post 28 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists in defeat. Milwaukee’s path to victory starts with their superstar. Giannis is 2nd in the NBA in scoring (30.7 ppg) and 6th in rebounding (11.6 rpg). He’s a matchup nightmare for any opponent.

Over their last ten games, Milwaukee is just 3-7 straight up and 4-6 ATS. The total has gone over in six of those ten. At home against Boston, the over is 4-2 in the last six meetings.
The Bucks also have some injury concerns for this game. Khris Middleton left Sunday’s game early after getting hit in the mouth and losing a tooth. His status is uncertain. Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) and Patrick Beverley (ankle) are both probable. Marjon Beauchamp and Jaylin Galloway remain out.
Celtics vs Bucks Player Props
DraftKings Sportsbook has released NBA player props for tonight’s game. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo has the highest point projection at 27.5. Boston’s Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum also have point totals over 20.

Here are the player props we’ve locked in for tonight’s game:
Giannis Antetokounmpo UNDER 27.5 Points
The 27.5-point total set for Antetokounmpo on Tuesday is 3.2 fewer points than his per-game scoring average. While Giannis is always a threat to explode offensively, the Celtics have done a solid job of containing him in their previous meetings this season.
Boston’s versatile defenders, led by Al Horford and Grant Williams, have the size and strength to make life difficult for the Greek Freak. Expect a hard-fought battle that could limit Antetokounmpo’s scoring opportunities, making the under an appealing play.
Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction
I’m backing the Celtics -2.5 in this spot. Boston is playing much better basketball right now and has a rest advantage after cruising to a win on Sunday. The Bucks are reeling, and their chemistry is off at the moment.
Even if they rest a starter or two, the Celtics still have the firepower to win on the road. Jaylen Brown (23.3 ppg) is playing some of his best basketball of the season and just eclipsed 10,000 career points. Marcus Smart, Malcolm Brogdon and Derrick White provide excellent depth.
While Milwauekke is the more desperate team, the Celtics will also be motivated after getting embarrassed in a 33-point loss in their last visit to Milwaukee in January. Boston allowed its highest point total of the season and rested all its starters for the entire second half.
The Celtics’ elite defense should be able to contain Giannis enough to get stops. If Middleton is out or limited, that puts even more pressure on the supporting cast. And I’m not sure the Bucks have enough firepower to keep up with Boston’s stars.
