The NFL’s Divisional Round kicks off on Saturday with the upstart Houston Texans (10-7, 4-4 away, ATS) visiting the AFC’s top seed, the Baltimore Ravens (13-4, 6-3 home, ATS), at M&T Bank Stadium at 4:30 pm ET.

The Ravens are listed as massive 9.5-point home favorites, the biggest spread in this weekend’s NFL odds. While the spread doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination, the Texans vs Ravens player props offer a long list of options.

Though Baltimore is a heavy favorite in the Texans vs Ravens odds, Houston QB CJ Stroud (238.5) has a higher passing-yards total than his Ravens counterpart, Lamar Jackson (228.5), while Houston RB Devin Singletary has the highest rushing yards O/U (59.5) and Houston WR Nico Collins has the highest receiving yards total (77.5).

According to data released by DraftKings Sportsbook on Saturday morning, Stroud to throw for over 1.5 passing touchdowns is the most bet player prop at their sportsbook. Isaiah Likely to go over his receiving yards total is the second-most wagered player prop.

HOU vs BAL Player-Prop Pick #1:  Stroud Under 238.5 Passing Yards

After throwing for 274 yards in the Wild-Card Round against the Cleveland Browns, Houston quarterback CJ Stroud has a passing-yards over/under of just 238.5 against the Ravens in this weekend’s NFL props.

The reasons for the decline are manifold. First, the conditions are expected to be suboptimal for passing. The weather report is calling for a game-time temperature of just 24 degrees Fahrenheit with 17 mph winds. (No snow or rain is in the forecast, though.)

Second, Stroud averaged 273.9 passing yards per game during the regular season, but only managed 231.7 yards per game during seven road contests. He snuck over this number in Houston’s Week 1 game at Baltimore (242 yards) but needed 44 pass attempts to do it, his second-highest number of the season.

Third, Stroud no longer has Tank Dell on the outside. That’s not a new development – the rookie went down in early December – but  Stroud’s gaudiest games all came with the former Houston Cougar in the lineup. Stroud’s 274 yards last week was his highest single-game output sans Dell. The Ravens finished sixth in passing defense (191.9 yards per game) and Stroud will be hard-pressed to go over that by nearly 50 yards on Saturday.

  • Pick: Stroud under 238.5 passing yards (+105)

Texans vs Ravens Player-Prop Pick #2: Jackson Under 53.5 Rushing Yards

As touched on above, the weather is going to make passing more difficult. The corollary, though, is that the teams will feel more confident loading the box if the windy conditions make deep balls difficult.

Jackson averaged 51.3 rushing yards per game for the year, but he only went over 53.5 on seven of 16 occasions. He was also held to just 38 yards by this Houston defense in Week 1, and Houston.

  • Pick: Jackson under 53.5 rushing yards (-115)

Texans vs Ravens Player-Prop Pick #3: Singletary Over 2.5 Receptions

The third and final HOU vs BAL prop pick is Houston RB Devin Singletary to have at least three receptions.  Singletary finished the regular season with just 38 receptions in 17 games (2.2 receptions per game) but he became more and more involved in the passing game as the season went on. He didn’t have more than two catches in any of the first ten games of the season. He’s had at least three in six of the past eight games, though, including the postseason, and averaged 3.3 receptions per game.

Singletary also recorded at least 50 receptions each of the past three seasons.

With the cold, windy weather likely to take away much of the deep-passing attack, expect Singletary to be as involved as ever with short throws near the line of scrimmage.

This line is as short as -160 at DraftKings, but bettors can still get it at -135 at FanDuel.

  • Pick: Singletary over 2.5 receptions (-136) on the FanDuel app
