The Houston Astros travel to Coors Field for a quick two game interleague series. The Rockies have been on a roll, winning their last seven of ten as they look to keep up with the stocked L.A. Dodgers. Game time is at 8:40 PM EST.

Gerrit Cole takes the mound with a 10-2 record. Cole has struck out 177 batters over 20 starts, but has given up multiple walks in each of his last eight outings.

Carlos Correa is still on the ten-day DL, retroactive to July 23rd. The Astros are being cautious with Correa, but have faired well in his absence, going 14-8.

Colorado Rockies

The Rockies starters will have to share the brunt of the load, if the Rockies are to make the playoffs. The young pitching staff currently has the seventh best WAR, a great surprise for a staff that is 29 or younger and making a combined $4.25 million this year.
