The Dallas Stars stumbled in Game 1 in overtime against the Seattle Kraken to open their second-round series. Dallas righted themselves in Game 2. Then simply, Game 3 happened.
Seattle took advantage of 13 different players scoring at least one point in a 7-2 home demolition of the Dallas Stars. Jake Oettinger allowed five goals in the second period alone. Miro Heiskanen left the game after taking a puck to the face. From there, the train derailed for Dallas.

Thankfully, it appears Miro Heiskanen escaped serious injury after taking a puck to the face. However, Jake Oettinger looks to not be the same against a Seattle team that just keeps firing pucks at the goaltender.

Andre Burakovsky is out as well as Jared McCann. However, McCann practiced in a normal jersey. This leads to speculation he may be available later in the series. Daniel Sprong is also day-to-day.
Dallas lengthened some in the Stanley Cup odds at +900 while Seattle is now only +1100.
Stars vs Kraken Analysis
The significant difference between being down 2-1 in Round 1 and now in Round 2 is this. Dallas is facing a Seattle team that can score from any line. When 13 players tally at least a point and typically no player scores multiple goals, it becomes difficult who to prioritize.
Dallas needs to get back to playing the way it did in Game 2. That, however, is easier said than done. Seattle has been the better team in two of the three games in this series. This best-of-seven feels a little like the Colorado series. Yes, the Kraken’s depth plays a vital role.
If Dallas cannot get timely stops in goal and score themselves, they may dig too big of a hole.

Honestly, Game 3 remains far from a fluke. Now, Dallas is in a series where the opponent does not go cold for long stretches. The Stars are now tested more than they were before.
So, can Dallas find a way to go back home even at two games apiece?

Stars vs Kraken Prediction
The playoff series has been something else. Now, the unknown part lies in what the expansion Kraken bring to the table in Game 4. Can they put Dallas on the brink? Will the Stars’ top six, particularly Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson, finally get going?
Philipp Grubauer controlled things, allowing Seattle to build a big lead in Game 3. He can keep a game close with timely saves. If Grubauer continues to stop pucks, Dallas is in trouble.
