Edmonton Oilers Betting Analysis
The Edmonton Oilers have been confusing all season, with wild blips of poor play followed by scintillating stretches. Connor McDavid has reached a mind-boggling level this year, racking up a career-high 54 goals and NHL-leading 124 points (27 more than anyone else, who happens to be his teammate Leon Draisaitl). Edmonton is coming off an impressive 3-2 victory in Boston, erasing a two-goal deficit to earn a huge victory.

They’ve won four of five to keep their grip on the first Wild Card spot, and are just four points back of tops in the Pacific which features four teams within four points of each other.
For the season, they’re best in goals per contest, but 21st in goals against. It would stand to reason they’re the best PP team, but 24th on the PK.
Edmonton has won their last five duels when they’re an underdog between +110 and +150. They’ve also taken six of seven as a road underdog and have secured four of five against winning teams.
Toronto Maple Leafs Betting Analysis
The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a fantastic season, with the fourth most points in the NHL. Unfortunately for them, the Atlantic Division isn’t within reach since the Bruins have been incredible (17 points ahead). With an almost certain playoff date with Tampa Bay, they’ve been experimenting with six new arrivals acquired before the trade deadline, and it sounds like they’ll go with eleven forwards and seven blueliners Saturday.

For the season, the Buds are sixth in goals against and ninth in scoring, and are third on the PP and 13th on the PK. Ilya Samsonov is the expected starter in net, and he’s been dynamite at home, going 17-2-1 (compared to 6-6-1 on the road).
Like Edmonton, Toronto has won four of five against teams with winning records. The under is 4-0-1 in their last five against the Western Conference.
