Premier League Predictions, Odds Week 27: Fulham vs Arsenal, Palace vs Man City & More

The English Premier League Matchday 27 takes place over the weekend, with six games on Saturday and four on Sunday. Below we offer some Premier League Predictions for bettors to consider.

Arsenal sit atop the Premier League with a five-point lead but are still being chased hard by Manchester City. At the other end of the table, Bournemouth and Southampton are currently joint bottom.

We list below the odds for the ten games and preview three that could offer some potential value.

Premier League Odds Matchday 27

Man Utd start this week’s program with the shortest odds at -295 to beat Southampton at home. A  $10 wager pays out just $13.40 (including the winning stake). On the flip side, the Saints are a generous +800 to win the game, which for the same $10 stake wins $90.

Leicester City vs Chelsea Premier League Prediction

Brendan Rodgers’ men come into this off the back of four straight losses – three in the EPL and a home loss against Blackburn in the FA Cup – and now just sit two points and three places above the relegation zone. The Foxes are at serious risk of dropping to the second tier for the first time since 2014.

Chelsea have just enjoyed their best midweek for months with their 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund taking them through to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League. It also, temporarily, eases the pressure on their under-fire manager, Graham Potter whose Blues’ team have slipped to 10th in the EPL table.

The Blues come into this with renewed confidence after the win over BVB although it#s possible that fatigue may be an issue as Leicester had a free week. But at evens, and aided by some momentum, the value here is with the visitors from west London.

Premier League Pick: Chelsea to win (+100).

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City Premier League Prediction

Palace are on a troubling run of just one win in their last ten games and, while they appear relatively comfortable in 12th, are only five points clear of the drop zone. Patrick Vierra will be acutely aware of where their current direction of travel will take them and the last opponents they need right now are Man City.

On the flip side, the Cityzens are in a really good place and chasing Arsenal hard for the EPL title. While the Gunners are managing to keep their noses ahead right now, City’s relentlessness and bigger squad make it feel almost inevitable that they will eventually close the gap.

Palace managed a goalless draw in this equivalent fixture last season but it’s hard to see a repeat, with City enjoying the position of being the hunter rather than the hunted. And after having had a rare free week, Guardiola’s men will be fresh.

Premier League Pick: Manchester City to win (-280).

Fulham vs Arsenal Prediction

For the last decade, Fulham have been one of English soccer’s yo-yo teams – too good for the Championship, not good enough for the Premier League – but under Marco Silva this season, the Cottagers look certain to break the cycle. They are currently seventh in the EPL, just three points shy of the European places, with an impressive 11-6-9 record

For Arsenal, these are exciting but exhausting times. They followed last Saturday’s breathless 3-2 win over Bournemouth with a 2-2 away draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday and so, unlike City, won’t have benefited from a few days’ rest.

Fulham look well placed to exploit Arsenal’s grueling week and have proven to be a tough nut to crack at Craven Cottage this season. A Fulham win is not out of the question but, for me, the value here is with the draw
