The XFL promised an entertaining product and so far they’ve delivered. Six of the first eight games have been one-score contests into the fourth quarter, with five of those matchups decided on the final drive. Read on for an analysis of XFL Week 3 odds.

Week 3 looks like another appetizing slate of games, and one we can definitely take advantage of in the betting market.

XFL Week 3 Odds

Arlington is currently the biggest favorite on the board, laying 8.5 points to a winless Orlando team. St. Louis vs DC projects as the tightest game of the weekend, and as AJ McCarron and the BattleHawks have proven, they’re no strangers to last second heroics.

The action kicks off on Saturday night in Vegas, as the Vipers host Seattle. That’s followed by a triple-header on Sunday, with the first game getting underway at 1 pm ET.

All four games can be streamed on ESPN+, while FX will provide the Saturday night tilt as well as the first two Sunday contests. ESPN2 will have coverage of the Sunday night game between San Antonio and Houston, as the Roughnecks look to improve to 3-0.

Seattle Sea Dragons vs Vegas Vipers XFL Week 3 odds

If you’re new to betting on minor league football, check out our how to bet on the XFL guide. Both the Sea Dragons and Vipers are winless so far, but there should be optimism that this contest can exceed the total.

Seattle QB Ben DiNucci leads the league in passing per the XFL stats, and the Sea Dragons have raced out to big leads in both of their first games. The offense has stalled in the second half in each outing, but another week of practice should hopefully remedy that.

Vegas meanwhile, struggled offensively last week but that was largely due to horrible weather. Former NFL Brett Hundley is now starting for the Vipers, which should be a major upgrade over Luis Perez.

Seattle is already 2-0 to the over this season, and this total is too low for what should be the highest-scoring game on the slate.

St. Louis BattleHawks vs DC Defenders XFL Week 3 odds

You have to wonder how long St. Louis can keep getting away with slow starts. 32 of their 36 points have been scored in the second half, with McCarron leading game winnings drives in the final seconds of back-to-back weeks.

A matchup with DC presents McCarron’s toughest test yet. The Defenders have the shortest XFL Championship odds, and lead the league in scoring defense, yielding just 12 points per game. They’ve racked up four turnovers and five sacks through two outings, and should feast on a St. Louis offensive line that’s already given up eight sacks.

Orlando Guardians vs Arlington Renegades XFL Week 3 odds

We’ve successfully faded Orlando in back-to-back weeks, and we’re not stopping there. The Guardians have scored a league low 24 points. To make matters worse, they’ve allowed a league high 63 points.

Paxton Lynch has been a disaster, but the two other quarterbacks he’s sharing time with (Quinten Dormady and Deondre Francois) haven’t fared much better. The Guardians QB trio has combined to throw four picks, while getting sacked nine times.

Arlington’s offense meanwhile, is nothing to brag about either. That side of the ball has scored only two touchdowns all season, while QB Drew Plitt leads the league in interceptions.

Pick: Under 38 (-110)

San Antonio Brahmas vs Houston Roughnecks XFL Week 3 odds

For my money, Houston is easily the class of the XFL. Brandon Silvers is tied for the league lead in TD passes, and ranks second in passing yards.

XFL Championship Odds

Wade Phillips has his defense playing inspired ball, as the Roughnecks lead the XFL in sacks, interceptions and tackles for loss. They’re allowing just 13 points per game, and can expect to see plenty of Kalen Ballage.

The former NFL’er leads the league in rushing yards but has yet to find the end zone. QB Jack Coan looked great last week, but that was against the porous Guardians. Expect a different outcome versus the Roughnecks.
