Two fading teams with NCAA Tournament hopes face off when Oklahoma State visits West Virginia at 7 p.m. ET Monday in a Big 12 game at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.

OK State (16-11, 3-6 road, 7-7 Big 12) has lost consecutive games following a five-game winning streak and was routed by #22 TCU 100-75 on Saturday on the road. West Virginia (15-12, 11-4 home, 4-10 Big 12) is on a three-game losing streak after winning four of five games and fell 78-72 to Texas Tech on Saturday at home.

The game will be televised on ESPN2.

OK State Betting Trends

Oklahoma State’s defense has disintegrated in the last two games as opponents have shot 60.7% combined from the field. TCU made 39 of 57 field goal attempts for a sizzling 68.4% on Saturday in pinning the Cowboys with the loss.

Oklahoma State was also outrebounded 33-21, committed 17 turnovers and got outscored 50-20 in points in the paint. TCU held a 20-2 advantage in paint points in the first half when it went ahead 47-27.

Cowboys senior forward Kalib Boone is their leading scorer at 12.1 points a game. However, he managed just three points Saturday while being limited to 10 minutes because of foul trouble.

Boone is also averaging 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots. He is fifth in the Big 12 in blocks.

Junior guard Bryce Thompson led Oklahoma State with 18 points, four assists and three steals. He raised his seasonal scoring average to 11.7.

Senior guard John-Michael Wright finished with 15 points and three assists while senior guard Caleb Asberry contributed 12 points but had six turnovers.

Wright is averaging 10.0 points.

Junior forward Moussa Cisse is scoring 6.7 points, grabbing 8.7 rebounds and blocking 2.1 shots a game. He leads the conference in rejections and is second in boards.

Despite its recent woes, Oklahoma State is 20^th in the nation in field goal percentage allowed (39.9) and 30^th in three-point defense (30.5%).

Senior guard Avery Anderson, who has an 11.1 scoring average, will miss his sixth straight game after undergoing wrist surgery.

West Virginia Betting Trends

Senior guard Kedrian Johnson finished with 20 points and four assists while shooting 8 of 13 from the floor. It marked his fourth 20-point game of 2022-23.

Johnson has averages of 10.5 points, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals.

Senior forward Tre Mitchell (11.1) and senior guard Joe Toussaint (10.0) are also scoring in double figures. Mitchell is also pulling down 5.4 boards per game, though West Virginia was outrebounded 39-28 by Texas Tech.

OK State vs West Virginia Prediction

Oklahoma State has won four of its last five games against West Virginia, including 67-60 on Jan. 2 in Stillwater. Thompson led the Cowboys with 15 points while Stevenson scored 17 for the Mountaineers before fouling out.

Neither team inspires confidence, but West Virginia looks like it is falling apart at the seams. The Mountaineers are a good fade candidate.
