Same-game parlays have taken the sports betting world by storm. It’s quickly become one of the most popular ways to wager. Bettors have the ability to win a lot without risking very much.
Same-game parlays are going to be one of the most common ways to bet on the Super Bowl on Sunday. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, or if you aren’t sure how to make Super Bowl bets online don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Keep reading for a full breakdown of what a same-game parlay is, and how to make one for the Big Game. If you’re new to sports betting, or if sports betting just became legal in your state, be sure to check out the best Super Bowl betting promos currently being offered.
What Is a Same-Game Parlay?
Let’s start with the basics. A parlay is where you group a bunch of bets together from different games and combine all the odds to create one large potential payout. In order for the wager to win, each of the bets you make within your parlay must be successful.
Most US betting sites won’t let you parlay player prop bets (a wager where you bet on the outcome of one individual in a specific category) together from just one game. That’s where a same-game parlay differs.
A same-game parlay can include any number of bets from within one contest like Super Bowl 57. You can combine the over/under on a player’s rushing total, along with the spread or moneyline, and a specific game prop. Or, you can parlay multiple player props together. The options are literally endless.

One way to increase the likelihood of same-game parlay being successful is through correlation. For example, the Eagles are 1.5 point favorites in the Super Bowl 57 odds. That suggests Philadelphia is most likely going to be playing from ahead. If that’s the case, we can expect a more run-heavy approach from them.
In that scenario, you could target the over on Miles Sanders’ rushing yards expecting more rushing volume for Philly’s starting RB. If the Eagles are going to be running the ball more than throwing, you could also bet the under on Jalen Hurts’ passing yards, and on AJ Brown’s receiving yards in your Super Bowl player props.
Using correlation is one way to tilt the odds in your favor, and is an example of a smart Super Bowl bet.

How Do I Make a Same-Game Parlay on the Super Bowl?
Now that you know what a same-game parlay is, it’s time to figure out how to make one of these wagers. First, head on over to your favorite online sportsbook. For this example, we’ll use DraftKings. Click on the NFL or SB LVII tab and then click inside the Chiefs vs Eagles matchup box. The following screen will appear.
Right underneath the matchup, you’ll notice a “click here to enable same-game parlay” option. Go ahead and do that. You’ll be taken to a new screen with a variety of betting options to choose from. Along the top of the screen, you’ll notice options for many different markets. They include game lines, TD scorers, passing props, rushing props etc.
You can navigate the different markets and select however many bets you want to make for your same-game parlay. The more selections you make, the larger the potential payout. However, with more selections comes more risk. A three-leg same-game parlay may not pay nearly as much as a seven-leg one, but the chances the bet is a winner is significantly higher. It’s all about risk tolerance.
For this example, we’ll go back to the same-game parlay we discussed in the previous selection. We know the Eagles want to run the ball. We also know the Chiefs are much better at defending the pass than the run. Miles Sanders rushed for over 74.5 yards in the Divisional Round and has favorable odds to do so again in the Super Bowl.
As you continue to add bets to your parlay, your bet slip in the right-hand corner will tally up all the odds and display your potential payout. For this specific same-game parlay, we’ll continue the theme of a heavy run approach for Philadelphia. Sanders over rushing yards correlates well with decreased passing numbers for Hurts. A low output from Hurts correlates with an underwhelming receiving yards total for AJ Brown.
That type of game script would see the Chiefs have to rally in catch-up mode. In that circumstance, they’ll need to throw almost exclusively. We’ll finish off this same-game parlay with over 299.5 passing yards for Patrick Mahomes as a result. We’ve clicked through each of the markets in SGP category to select each of these picks, just as we did with the Miles Sanders rushing graphic earlier.
Add it up and you have a +1200 same-game parlay to sweat for Super Bowl Sunday. You can see in the screenshot above that a $20 wager at +1200 odds would return a payout of $260. That includes your initial $20 wager, plus $240 of profit.
There are all kinds of Super Bowl promotions running at NFL betting sites, especially for SGPs. Right now DraftKings is offering up to a 100-percent profit boost on the Super Bowl for stepped-up same-game parlays.
FanDuel Sportsbook is also offering a No Sweat Same-Game Parlay for the Super Bowl. Simply make a 3+ leg SGP with final odds of +400 or longer and if you lose, you’ll get a refund in bonus bets.
