It’s Tottenham vs Man City in the EPL at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London on Sunday, February 5 (KO 11:30pm ET). City start, as always, as odds-on favorites.
City are still second in the table and chasing league leaders Arsenal, but are leaving them little room for error. With Arsenal losing on Saturday at Everton, a City win here would close the gap to just two points. Tottenham, after a tricky few weeks, find themselves down in fifth.
We preview our Tottenham vs Man City picks, look at the odds, and offer some analysis, team news, and predictions below.

Tottenham vs Man City Preview
Cristian Stellini expected to take charge of Tottenham following Antonio Conte’s midweek gallbladder operation, and so the big question is will there will be a different approach from Spurs on Sunday? Conte’s Spurs have been labeled as unadventurous and over-cautious by Spurs fans in recent weeks, so Stellini’s set-up will be interesting.
Before being taken ill, Conte watched his men record an important 3-0 away at Preston in the FA Cup, with the goals coming from Son Heung-min and new-signing Arnaut Danjuma. It was their second consecutive win after winning away at Fulham, but followed on from two disheartening defeats, at the hands of North London rivals Arsenal and away at Man City.

No Home Comforts for Spurs
If they can make it three wins on the spin, then the belief will start to return after those two confidence-sapping losses, but it’s a big ask against a rejuvenated City
Spurs’ home form is also a cause for concern. Four of their last five league games at home have ended in defeat and they have looked anything but assured defensively, conceding two or more goals in each of those games.

City Bounce Back After Mini-Blip
Pep Guardiola questioned the hunger of his players following consecutive defeats – in the Manchester Derby and then against Southampton in the quarterfinal of the EFL Cup – and they responded in style with EPL wins over Tottenham and Wolves, and Arsenal in the FA Cup.
The FA Cup win over the Gunners was significant in that it dealt a psychological blow to the team they’re chasing in the EPL table and will have served notice to Arteta’s men. Arsenal’s defeat at Goodison Park will have doubled the pressure in North London.

Inconsistent Spurs
Much will depend on which Tottenham turns up on Sunday as inconsistency has been a feature of their season to date. Their away form has been better than that at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and their home support has been a hindrance rather than a help in recent games.
Only if Spurs manage a flying start and the crowd gets behind the team, could things get difficult for City but with Erling Haaland matching up against Eric Dier, Guardiola’s men will be confident of getting another win.
Tottenham vs Man City Team Lineups and Injuries

Tottenham vs Man City Prediction
City have looked unstoppable over the last two games and have started hitting the type of form that’s seen them land consecutive EPL titles. An early goal for Guardiola’s men and this could be a tough afternoon for Spurs.
