The only thing Jalen Hurts didn’t do was score a TD for us in a shootout win over the Packers in Week 12.

No matter, a 3-1 week on the prop betting front has us yay close to getting into the black, and we try to get over the hump when the Indianapolis Colts face off with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

These teams feature stout defenses, but plenty of playmakers that can swing the outcome in any game.

Let’s take a look at the NFL player props available for this matchup and share a few of our favorite picks.

Odds as of December 4 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Prop #1: Matt Ryan Longest Completion & Passing Yards

Matt Ryan  isn’t your Atlanta-level MVP pivot anymore. He’s a guy that’s on his last legs, trying to eke out wins with a subpar offensive line and diminished skills.

It’s a bad combo as he’s going against the premier pass defense in the NFL. The Cowboys surrender a miniscule and NFL-best 177.7 pass yards per game, and have the best passing defense by DVOA. Part of that is aided by a debilitating pass rush, which leads the league in sacks with 45.

Ryan may have crossed this passing total seven times this season, but he’s gone under the number in two straight, and there’s a strong chance this is number three.

This goes hand-in-hand with his longest completion number, which somehow checked in at 33.5, a figure he’s topped in just three games all year.

Picks:

  • Ryan UNDER 215.5 yards passing (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
  • Ryan Longest Completion UNDER 33.5 yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units

Prop #2: Prescott Rush Yards & Lamb Receiving Yards

Indy isn’t Dallas-level dominant, but they’re a top-10 team in sacks, so the pocket should collapse enough for Dak Prescott to find running room. Eight of the 12 quarterbacks the Colts have faced this year have gone over that total. I can’t help myself with these QB run props.

As for Lamb, he’s crossed this receiving yard total three times in his last four games.

The Colts feature a top-5 passing defense, but they’ve had at least one opposing receiver cross this total in seven games this season.

Picks:

  • Prescott OVER 8.5 rushing yards (-110); 1 unit to win 0.91 units
  • Lamb OVER 71.5 receiving yards (-120); 1 unit to win 0.83 units

Colts vs Cowboys Scoring Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Any TD
Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) +550 -110
Jonathan Taylor (IND) +750 -110
Tony Pollard (DAL) +550 -105
CeeDee Lamb (DAL) +600 +105
Dalton Schultz (DAL) +900 +160
Michael Gallup (DAL) +1000 +190
Michael Pittman Jr (IND) +1500 +220
Noah Brown (DAL) +1200 +225
Parris Campbell (IND) +2500 +370
Dak Prescott (DAL) +1900 +370
Alec Pierce (IND) +3000 +450

Colts vs Cowboys Touchdown Scorer Odds

Can Ezekiel Elliott strike first again? He has scored the first touchdown in each of his last three appearances, and would cash in at +550. He’s also scored at least once in four straight games. Their other RB, Tony Pollard, has hit paydirt in three of Dallas’ last four games.

For the Colts, Jonathan Taylor has scored a TD in three straight Colts games, while Parris Campbell has a score in two of the Colts’ last three road games.

Picks:

  • Elliott ANYTIME TD scorer (-110); 1 unit to win 0.91 units
  • Week 12 Record: 3-1; Overall SNF props record: 23-23, -1.04 units
