After sending out a hopeful tone earlier in the week, the Arizona Cardinals (4-6, 5-5 ATS) are now acknowledging that they’ll be without quarterback Kyler Murray for the second straight week as they are facing the San Francisco 49ers (5-4, 5-4 ATS) in the Week 11 MNF game.
Colt McCoy will be starting at QB for the Cardinals in place of Murray, who’s nursing a hamstring ailment. Murray will be one of three starters who are out for Arizona.
For the 49ers, right defensive tackle Arik Armstead will be missing his sixth consecutive game with a combination of foot and ankle injuries.
49ers 10-Point Favorites In Mexico
Playing a neutral-site game in Mexico, it’s the 49ers who are set as 10-point favorites over the Cardinals in the 49ers vs Cardinals picks for this Week 11 MNF matchup. Public betting is of two minds when it comes to the spread on this game. Arizona is getting solid public support in spread action in the 49ers vs Cardinals betting splits, but it’s the 49ers who are drawing the moneyline plays.
Kickoff at Estadio Azteca is set for 8:15 pm ET on Monday, November 21. The weather forecast is calling for cloudy skies, 4 mph wind and a temperature of 70 degrees. The game is airing on ESPN in the USA and on TSN and DAZN in Canada.
San Francisco 49ers Injury Report
Armstead hasn’t played since October 3 against the Los Angeles Rams, also a MNF game. Defensive line is really the only area of concern for the 49ers in terms of injury issues.
Starting LDT Javon Kinlaw is on injured reserve. He’s been out since September 25 against the Denver Broncos. He underwent surgery in October of 21 to repair damage on his right knee. Fluid buildup on the knee put Kinlaw on the shelf.

Starting LDE Samson Ebukam (quadriceps, Achilles) is listed as questionable. Backup DT Kalia Davis (undisclosed) is on the reserve/non-football injury list, while backup DT Maurice Hurst (biceps) is on IR.
The 49ers are also without starting LCB Emmanuel Moseley. He’s on IR after undergoing ACL surgery in late October.
Arizona Cardinals Injury Report
Beyond Murray, there are also issues facing the Cardinals at wide receiver. DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Arizona. He’s been limited in practice, but expectations are he’ll be playing.
Marquise Brown (foot) is eligible to be activated from IR, but he’s also given an injury designation of questionable. However, it’s now appearing that Brown won’t be activated in time to play in the MNF game.
For the second straight week, Colt McCoy appears set to start for the #AZCardinals, sources say. With QB Kyler Murray still dealing with a hamstring injury and limited all week, McCoy is good to go. The veteran hopes to replicate last week when he was 26 of 36 for 238 with a TD.

Two offensive line starters are also hurting. LT DJ Humphries (back) is out, while LG Max Garcia (shoulder) is questionable. He’s also been limited in practice this week. The Cardinals were placing starting C Rodney Hudson (knee) on IR last week.
On defense, starting LCB Byron Murphy (back) is out.
How Could Injuries Affect 49ers vs Cardinals Lines?
Enjoying a big game in last week’s win over the Los Angeles Rams, McCoy was 26-of-36 through the air for 238 yards and a touchdown. He was also 22-of-26 for 249 yards and a TD in a 31-17 win over San Francisco in Week 9 of last season. McCoy might be worth a look in the 49ers vs Cardinals player props.
McCoy had been listed earlier in the week with a knee injury. However, that injury designation was removed and he’s been a full participant in practice.
Rookie Trey McBride will be starting at TE for the Cardinals. Starter Zach Ertz will undergo season-ending knee surgery following an injury suffered in last week’s win over the Rams. Josh Jones will start at LT for Humphries. Antonio Hamilton starts at LCB for Murphy.
For the 49ers, Ebukam was limited in practice this week, but it’s expected that he will play. Kevin Givens starts at LDT for Kinlaw, with Hassan Ridgeway likely to again be filling in for Armstead at RDT.
