So, the Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos matchup on Sunday will feature slightly warmer weather than during the week.
Though Denver has been horrible, they are still 3-point home favorites vs the Raiders.
Granted, the Raiders and Broncos have both far from lived up to expectations as they clash to avoid the AFC West basement.
Both teams have extensive injury issues but Las Vegas looks like they will have Derek Carr playing. Davante Adams is still questionable with an abdominal issue. Adams saw limited participation on Wednesday.
Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos gets started Sunday from Empower Field (Mile High Stadium) at 4:25pm ET, in a game that can be seen live on CBS.

So, the NFL Betting Trends curve a bit toward the road team. 55% of the money placed is for the Raiders but overall, 57% of the bets are on the Denver moneyline and the over for Sunday.
Broncos Betting Outlook
This game has now is a must-win for the Broncos and coach Nathaniel Hackett. Many probably did not expect Denver to be 3-6 and yet, here we are.
After winning two of three games to start the season, the Broncos have lost five of their previous six games. They have only scored 21 or more points once all season (they lost that game 32-23 to Las Vegas).

Last week, Denver’s defense held Derrick Henry and the potent Tennessee rushing attack to a mere 63 yards. However, the Las Vegas Raiders did rush for a season-high 212 yards against the Broncos in Week 4. By metrics, it was Denver’s worst week defensively on the season. Overall, they rank 1st in yards allowed and second in points.
What could help Denver is if the offense can muster something to keep them off the field. The Broncos’ offense has totaled a mere 131 points on the season (10 last week). Only 26.4% of their offensive drives end up in a score, which also ranks at the bottom of the NFL rankings.
Even the Broncos may be able to manage something offensively this week.
Again, Denver’s offense started off well last week but Russell Wilson and company vanished from the late second quarter onward.
Wilson will need a sustained performance this week to defeat the Raiders on Sunday.
Raiders Betting Outlook
On the road, the Raiders have a chance to get out of the basement in Denver.
Josh McDaniels saw a nice three-game effort vanish with three consecutive disastrous losses. The latest came against Jeff Saturday and the Indianapolis Colts. Saturday had not coached in any capacity in the NFL.
The Raiders’ offense basically feels like Davante Adams and Derek Carr. Adams caught nine passes for 126 yards while Carr tossed two touchdowns (one to Adams) and 248 yards. The Las Vegas rushing attack managed a meager 77 yards. That made six weeks where the Raiders did not gain 100 yards on the ground.
None of the once-seemingly realistic dreams that Raiders fans carried into the first season under coach Josh McDaniels remain possible at the midway point of the year. Not after Las Vegas lost three straight games as a favorite to fall to 2-7. https://t.co/DTw8DGYUcQ

Again, this week features much uncertainty for the Raiders. Derek Carr seems to be just fine after being a little banged up on Sunday. However, Davante Adams’ abdomen muscle is tender. Adams was listed as questionable for this Sunday.
There is a solid rusher in Josh Jacobs but the problem is ball distribution. The Raiders do not spread the ball around enough. Jacobs averages a mere 17.6 carries a game. A few more carries at 5.2 yards a clip might help the Las Vegas offense.
Again, Las Vegas continues to make just enough mistakes on both sides of the ball. Six of their seven losses on the season have come by one possession.
Also, the Raiders have to stop teams more. They rank 28th in the league defensively allowing 226 points. That is 25.1 points per game. Las Vegas scored a mere 40 points over the past three weeks (all losses).
Maybe, that changes this week?
Raiders vs Broncos Prediction
Everything about this game feels like the under is the wise choice.
Both teams have issues on the offensive side. If Las Vegas does not get Adams back, this game only gets more frightening.
The Pick: Under 41.5 points (-110) 1 unit
2022 Record: 7-3; Overall: 7-3, +3.5 units
