We hit it big last Sunday night, landing four out of five prop bets in the Titans-Chiefs game to pull us close to .500, with a chance to get in the black with another good week of picks.
Plenty of great opportunities on the docket, as the Los Angeles Chargers visit the San Francisco 49ers in an all-West Coast showdown from Levi’s Stadium.
The Niners are coming off a bye week — giving mad scientist Kyle Shanahan an extra week of prep to unleash his impressive offensive arsenal that last whipped the Rams 31-14.
As for the Chargers, they’ve won four of their last five, including last week’s 20-17 win in Atlanta.
Let’s look at the the NFL player props available for this matchup and share a few of our favorite picks.

Prop #1: Christian McCaffrey Rushing Yards
The 49ers showed the multitude of ways they plan to use the talents of newly acquired Christian McCaffrey in their win over the Rams. The ex-Panther ran for 94 yards on 18 carries and a TD, caught nine balls for 55 yards and TD, and he threw a 34-yard TD pass to Brandon Aiyuk.
That was after just one full week of practice. Now, coming off a bye week, it should be all systems go for the centrepiece of the San Fran attack.
CMC to the Bay has worked out nicely so far 🙌 @CMC_22 (by @Lowes)

Two wagers really stand out here. The first is his rushing yards total. Los Angeles features the 5th-worst run defense in the NFL, surrendering 145.5 yards per game, while giving up a league-best 5.7 yards per tote.
I also really like CMC’s longest run prop of 16.5 yards. The Chargers have allowed at least one running back to top this total in all but one game this season, when Denver’s longest run went for 14 yards.
Look for McCcaffrey to be a workhorse in Week 10, and cash in on it.
Picks:Â
- McCaffrey OVER 80.5 yards rushing (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
- McCaffrey OVER 16.5 yards longest rush (-125); 1.5 units to win 1.2 units

Prop #2: Herbert Passing Yards & Carter Receptions
Since a blistering start to the year, where he averaged 312.5 passing yards per game, Justin Herbert has been somewhat contained in his previous four starts, where he’s averaging 251 yards.
His top two receivers, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, are injured and aren’t available Sunday night.
Couple that with the fact the 49ers have the 9th-ranked pass defense — one of nine teams to hold the opposition to under 200 yards passing per game (199.7), while allowing just 6.3 yards per attempt (T-8th) — and it equals a tough passing day.

Without his top targets, and the 49ers’ ability to bring pressure (6th-most sacks on the year with 26), they’ll be hard pressed to find those big chunk plays.
That being said, someone is going to need to catch the ball, and DeAndre Carter should be looked at favorably, with Josh Palmer sliding into that top pass-catcher role, and more of the Niners’ attention. Last week, he caught five balls on six targets against the Falcons.
His usage is the key here: minus Allen and Williams the previous two games, he saw 94% of the snaps against Atlanta and 83% against Seattle. Prior to that, he hadn’t seen more than 74% snaps in a game all season.
Pick:
- Herbert UNDER 252.5 rushing yards (-110); 1 unit to win 0.91 units
- Carter OVER 3.5 receptions (+110); 1 unit to win 1.10 units
